Happenings...

Lots going on. I'm sure with all of us. Busy time of year. Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I sure did. Literally ate about 6-7 pieces of pie over the past 3 days. And I don't feel bad. Only I kinda do. Thats alot of pie. Did you know pie is my favorite dessert though. Absolute favorite. I like a birthday pie instead of birthday cake. I just love it. So I had to eat alot of it. Just had to. Then I had to run alot. You now counterbalance. Anywho..way off track. Thanksgiving post to come, this one is about other stuff.

Starting with baby Caroline. One day last week me and Linc and Drake made a day trip up to Logan. Turns out baby Caroline is a bit of a stinker. She likes to be held. Always. Jen has three other children. That can't happen. So she cries and cries and cries. And Jen is kinda going nuts. Can't get anything done. So me and my mom went up and busied ourselves with cleaning her house and helping get her Christmas decorations out. Gotta say between the three of us we made massive progress. If only you always cleaned your house with two other helpers. Moves so quickly. Linc meanwhile enjoyed some snuggles with our sweet baby.

I enjoyed quite a few loves myself. Ooh this baby girl. Oh she is so precious. I keep telling Jen I will take her off her hands. Gladly.

Last weekend we attended our first ever ugly sweater party. Haha. Too funny. This cute little gingerbread sweater was my moms. Worn many a Christmas. She loved this little number. And the thing is it was really cute back then. Cracks me up now. I felt a little weird in it.

Funnest friends! We laughed so hard. Grateful for good friends. Oh and if you didn't notice these boys had a little too much fun with the Snowman's carrot. Dirty minded boys.

Went up to Tremonton for our Pre Thanksgiving dinner with my Williams' family.
Back in August with threw together a little family picture of all of us. The last one we had was 8 years ago. Carson was a brand new newborn. Figured it was time to update. My cousin got one printed out and we showed it to my Grandma that night.

Love this lady. So much. So much is changing lately and it is has been really hard on me. I've been so emotional everytime we are up there. I end up bawling the whole way home. My grandma's health is really starting to slip, she is on alot of medication which is causing her to become a little slurred and confused. It is heartbreaking for me to see. I can't even tell you how much I love this family. And my grandpa and grandma are the heart and soul of it. In a world where everything changes, they never have. A constant source of love and comfort for me. So many traditions and memories tie back to them and I am just scared to death of losing them. I know its inevitable and feels like our time is becoming limited. And it just makes me so very sad.

Love him with my whole heart. Love how he loves her. They are the perfect example of marriage and family and love and commitment. My sweet grandpa, he sure does love us kids. He always gets so emotional which makes me emotional. Geez, I just love them. So grateful I am part of their amazing family. They have so much to be proud of.

I will never forget this night. She was having a good day, feeling pretty good and really alert. Felt like my grandma. I sat next to her and held her hand for almost an hour, never forget her words of love to me. How proud she is of all of us and how much she loves us. Started to cry and just layed there in her lap while she hugged me. I will never forget that hug or that moment for as long as I live. So grateful for her. So grateful to have known a love that strong that makes the thought of goodbye so very painful. Her family loves her, that is for sure.

It was a beautiful night.

This is on the way home. My grandpa gave Linc his birthday card, gotta love his reaction!

Moving on....to Oreos. Holiday Oreo's.

I'm not the only one who loves holiday themed food. I gotta steer clear of the holiday aisle at the grocery store, sucks me right in!

Another visit from Superman. This kid lives in a world of superheroes. He's insane. We will leave it at that.

The second grade put on a little Thanksgiving program for the families. It was darling. My boy's speaking part was the very first line in the program. He did so good. Sang a bunch of songs and all that. Dressed up as pilgrims and indians. It was really cute. Grateful for good teachers that take the time to do extra events like that. As a mom that means alot to me.

Lots of hot chocolate happening. Put the babies to bed early and me and Thiago and Cars stayed up restranding our new Christmas lights. Carson loves that kind of thing, especially when it is just him.

Thiago had the day before Thanksgiving off so we decided to go to breakfast.

And after we took the boys to the Hill Aerospace Museum.

Which of course they loved. Huge airplanes and little boys. Win-win.

Thanksgiving up next!

Your family really is the sweetest and such a great example for everyone. Your grandparents seem like the sweetest. It breaks my heart knowing what you are going through. Spend as much time with them as you can, especially if you can feel the time is coming close. I wish I could spend another day with my grandparents, they were the sweetest. I think they hold a special place in your heart that nobody can replace.
