Black Island Farm...and a bit more

Same place we went to for Linc's preschool field trip, but this time we went back with our whole fam. Carson was devastated the morning of the field trip when he found out we were going there and he had to go to school. I promised him we would all go that weekend to make up for it.

My three little punkins...love these little punkins.

This place is worth going to for the photography alone. Its just so "farmish" and "fallish". Cause those are words of course. Its a little pricey I think, but totally worth it. Just sets the mood for Halloween and autumn. Its the only place like this around us so on an unusually warm Saturday in October, it was packed! Things went much smoother the day I was there with Lincoln. Not too many folks out at 10:00 am on a Monday :)

Sweetest baby boy. Not to often I let the one year old roam free without his stroller. He kept looking at me like "you serious, I get to just walk". Ha! He was loving it...started with the farm animals. Here he is admiring a goat with grandma. Completely enamored.

Here he is laughing at his weirdo big brother. Lincoln was making weird calls to the goats. I thought it was odd, Drake clearly loved it though.

Watching the baby pig races.

We spend most of our times at the slides. They all love it.

You have to climb little rope ladders to get to the top. Obviously Drake can't tackle that himself. And obviously he loved the slide. Which means I spent the better part of the evening standing at the top, reaching down to grab him from Thiago. I was more than ready to move onto a different activity.

This one is Lincoln's favorite. Big old barrel slide you come flying down. I like to stand at the bottom and laugh at people. You don't realize how loud you while IN the slide. People say and do some funny things coming down that slide. Haha.

I also find alot of interest in the treats they have available. Such as kettle corn. I just love kettle corn. I babysat this giant bag my mom bought. You are welcome mom, anytime.

Then there is anything deep fried. These were deep friend oreos. Luckily we just bought the one container full and shared them between like 10 of us. All you needed was a bite. Besides, we were going to dinner after.

After a few hours we were ready to go. The kids all had a great time. It was such a nice night as well. Not to cold and not too hot. Just pleasant.

One more event to talk about before the big day tomorrow...pumpkin carving!
We always get together with Ash and Souli and the kids and make a night out of it. Ash made delicious soup, I brought some breadsticks and a few other essentials...

Nothing speaks fall like apple cider and doughnuts. Yum!

Always a messy little activity, but still a Halloween must. Carson was very specific on his this year. Drew the face himself. Lincoln and Drake could have cared less, spent the evening playing with Ash's toys and stopped to take a picture. Although Drake wouldn't even part with his toys for that....

Gotta love it.

Happy Halloween guys!

Insta-update

Got a few more posts I need to get done before Halloween...so here's a real quick one. All my recent instagram updates.

Missionary farewell with family!

A Sunday nap..rarely happens.

Even big ol' seven year olds need loves from their mama's sometimes.

Lincoln has snack at preschool. The theme is black and white. He has only reminded me about a billion times. Bringing snack must be the "cool" thing when you are three.

Chocolate covered candy corns?? Never heard of it but I'm willing to give them a try.

It's fun Friday. He's wearing his school shirt. And he look's freaking cute!

One of our last 80 degree days.

Proud new owner. Tonight. Me and my boys.

Movie time!

Happy birthday Mama!

Happy Thursday from 2 little brothers and their princess cousin. Its gonna be a good day...

This boy comes alive when his dad gets home. I guess he forgets I'm the one that does every waking thing for him.

Why is this stupid cake still here? Don't you know what keeps happening...

Pumpkin chocolate chip

Last soccer practice of the season. Good thing cause I'm pretty sick of freezing my butt off out here.

It's umbrella weather today...and Cars is sporting a new one.

Look what I got. We finally bought a treadmill!

A little over 4 mile in 37 minutes...I'm happy with that. All while watching the presidential debate. Win-win!!

Working an extra day this week. Bummer. Lunch date with my honey is nice though.

Nothing cuter than a babe in footsie jams.

My bug-a-boo hasn't been feeling well today. His mama is all he is wanting. So grateful it is my shoulder he wants to lay his head on, my voice he turns to find, and my arms he wants to snuggle in. Blessed to be a mama!

Curled my hair....and wearing my favorite fall scent.

A crazy haired Lincoln finishing off an ice cream sundae

Heading out the door with my 3 monsters. Dad is fishing, so its just me against them at church today. Yikes!

Are you kiddding me? Not only does this kid sneak out of his room once Carson is asleep, and makes himself comfy in my bed. He now also demands oatmeal. And I agree to this madness!!!

Grocery store. Asleep. Everytime.

Dentist Day.

Got Carson's school picture back. I thought it turned out pretty cute. He looks so BIG to me. Oh sigh...

A chilly October day. A Lincoln boy. Pretty good combination.

He's having the hardest time waking up...and I don't blame him one bit.

Oh, what the heck...let's make it 3 days in a row, wearing some sort of hoodie.

I'm off...back tomorrow.
