seven...MONTHS

I am interupting my San Diego posts to bring you this little bit of exciting news. Kinda exciting, kinda sad...depending on who you talk to.

Drakey bug is 7 months old. 7, 7, yes 7. What the????

Mouse and baby...1 month

2 months...

3 months...

4 months...

5 months...

6 months...

and 7.

Oh my heavens...he is cute!

Ooohh, I love him and all his squishy goodness. I absolutely adore this age. Still so much a baby but so much dang personality. He is such fun.

Quick recap..

6 month well child check. We were 2 weeks late, thanks to his doctor being out of town and then us being out of town. None the less, we made it in. I guess my tiny trend in tots continues. He weighed 15 pounds which puts him in the 5th percentile, and is 25 inches tall which puts him in the 6th percentile....with a head in the 46th percentile. So I have small children with big heads. Yep, big brains in there. Smart kids. (hehe)

He of course received some immunizations. 3 to be exact. He had a sad little reaction this time. Which has never happened with any of my kids. He was so, so, so sad this day. Cried and cried. Fevered and got a little knot on his leg where the shot went in. I called and they said that happens sometimes. Just massage it and it would go away in a few days. Poor little guy. It was a rough 24 hours.

Still a pretty good eater. Good not great. Can be a tad picky about his vegetables and dinners. Loves his fruit and loves table food. However it takes a little work on the others. He still eats it, just not as vigorously.(Thats his aunty Ashie there feeding him, she kinda likes him.)

I can see why...he's pretty cute.

Still no teeth. Kinda funny to me. Lincoln had 2 by this age, and Carson had six. So who knows...I guess they will come eventually. He is pretty good at gumming though, so no worries.

With a face this cute, who needs teeth.

I can't even describe to you what a sweet disposition this boy has. Oh, he is just so lovely. He has just got us completely smitten with him. His sweet, soft, snuggly little ways. What a joy.

And the toy stage begins...he loves to sit and play (and suck) on all of his little things.

Also at the age where he is getting pretty grabby. Watch your food if he is in your lap while eating. He goes for whatever is within his reach. Phones, jewelry, food, hair, drinks....whatever.

Still working on sitting up, kinda funny. There is a baby in our ward about the same age who is already crawling and Drake isn't even sitting yet. He kinda just topples after a few minutes.

However, he is a pretty good roller. He reaches and rolls for anything and everything. If it is in his eye sight he goes for it.

Still a great sleeper. My best so far. Sleeps through the whole night and 2 decent sized naps during the day. Doesn't matter where he is or what we are doing, he is pretty consistent about those naps.

Love you sweet baby...happy 7 months!

Seven months that's just awful, I can't believe how fast time went. I didn't realize he doesn't have any teeth yet. All of my kids had at least three or four by that age, funny!

Sweet disposition is right, you never even know he is around the way he just sits there so sweetly calm as can be. Katelynn has never just sat there a day in her life. Let's swap for a day I have the sweetheart you can have the terror?

He does look so snugly! I can't believe it's been 7 months since you had him, so crazy to me! I wouldn't be worried about his teeth, Cambree finally has 2 coming in, yes only coming in...they haven't come out quite yet and she's almost 15 months!!! I think it's cute to have all gums, that way it makes them feel younger and then you feel better about them not growing up to quickly ;) I love all of his pictures, he is just so cute!
