Here comes a whole bunch of randomness for ya...in an effort to get caught up. I got some fun stuff coming up that I would love to blog about..my new nephew, mothers day, flower planting, my anniversary...but first the randomness. I'll get that out of the way. First off, summer is comin' Can't wait. Don't these little chairs of my mama's make ya happy. They make me happy.
There's actually alot of stuff making me happy right now. This tree for instance, well my entire yard. Love this time of year. Everything is blooming, and coming back to life, the rain is keep everything so green and colorful. So clean and fresh...
I'm just dying to get out there and plant....soon. This week. We should be able to trust this Utah weather by now, hopefully no more cold fronts that would freeze the flowers.
Had a fun little date night a couple of weekends ago. Got together with Thiago's old highschool buddies and their wives.
We had so much fun. I love his friends, but I especially love their wives. I could talk to those cute girls all night long. Had such a great night out.
A couple of Sundays ago we headed up to my grandparents house in Tremonton. Big family dinners, every single Sunday. We only make it up there once every couple of months, but I sure love it when we do. My boys were out playing in their backyard and I snapped this beautiful picture. How would you like to have this view greeting you each morning.
Give this little patch of dirt a few weeks and it will be overflowing with fresh veggies. Nobody gardens better than my grandpa. My boys love to wander out there and jump the stepping stones. I use to do that when I was their age.
Was watching Elle bell one morning while Ash went to a baby doctor appointment, came out from the back end of the house to find these two both sitting in a tupperware container, eating Cheez-its, and watching Jake and the Neverland Pirates. Had to laugh at the little dorks.
Poor Drake bug. He's getting to that age where naps are sometimes hit and miss. We had an extra busy day that day and the little guy never was able to squeeze a nap in. Later that night, Carson had soccer practice and on the way home I found him zonked out. Carried him into the house, hoping to wake him so it wouldn't mess up his bedtime. Nothing would revive him. Dead to the world.
Even undressed him to get him in the bathtub...slept right on through. Poor crazy kid.
Celebrated our Vovo's birthday a couple weeks ago. He wanted Happy Hashi for dinner. Ever been? Alot like Tepanyaki, only I actually like it a bit better. Way pricey, but fun every now and then. Here are my cutie pies all ready to go. Just thought they looked cute sitting there on my blue bench.
The next day we all went over to my brother in laws for dessert and to sing "Happy BirthdaY".
I just love my father in law. I truly love my own dad, and know he has always done the best he could do. But in all honesty he was never around a whole lot, especially after my parents divorce. I know he did his best, and I am so grateful for the role he has played in my life, but seeing the way my father in law is with his children and grandchildren has shown me what that relationship is supposed to look like. He would do anything for us, and he has. Love him so much, and am so grateful that he taught my boy had to be a husband and father. He learned from the very best and I am so grateful to him.
Just a random pic of my Lincoln boy...he loves those red shoes.
Friends...I have decided I just love to cook. I always kinda liked it, not loved but didn't hate it also. But lately, I just have so much fun with it. Love to find new recipe blogs and cookbooks and just go crazy. Sunday is my favorite baking day. We are out of church by noon, and I have the whole afternoon to just bake away. Plus we always see family this day so I can share my results, no way do I need that all in my house. This day I was in charge of dessert at my mother in laws, so I made a yummy pudding layered dessert. Then tried out a new recipe for buttermilk banana bread and muffins. They were just for us. Thiago is a big fan of banana bread, and just loves when I make it. So we didn't share that.
More randomness...Drakeybug at Carson's soccer practice. The kid has discovered "Angry Birds" on my phone. I knew it was just a matter of time.
At my mom's house one Sunday, all the other cousins were off exploring and playing together....not Drake. He sat at my mom's patio table. Just a lone baby and his race car track. He's funny.
Here is the rest of the little monsters....
It's a rough life this little 2 year old leads, as I was cleaning my bathroom, he parked it right here in his little chair, with his blanket, watching his show...love him!
One final pic..last weekend we left Drake with my mother in law. Picked up little Brev and took the boys to Iron Man III. Loved it. Loved the first one, didn't like the second one, and loved the third one. Boys had a great time.
That will do it for now....

Looks like you have been so busy.
Your garden and flowers just look so beautiful, you truly have a knack with that!
Your father in law sounds like a great man. How lucky you all must feel to have him in your lives.
