Cherry Hill....my kind of camping!

Summertime....stuff going on every single weekend. I LOVE it!!! This weekend we went with my family to Cherry Hill. We actually camped out there, which we have never done before. Unfortunately for me I still had to work a half day on Saturday. So I missed out on some of the fun, but what do you do. I just have some Saturdays off coming up that I didn't feel like I could ask for this one off too. Kinda hard to work just one day a week and keep asking for it off, you know what I mean.


We got there Friday night and set up camp and all that. Excuse Lincoln in this picture, he looks a little crazy. It was cute of me and Tanner though. My kids look like orphans in alot of these pictures, so beware. Camping, swimming, and no mom around does that to you.


Yep, thats right. Here is Lincoln eating paper. Thiago and I were setting up our tent, and as you can see we weren't paying a whole lot of attention to the little guy.




We celebrated Tanner's 8th birthday while we were there. I just have to say to my little buddy....WE LOVE YOU!! Happy, happy birthday. We are so proud of the little guy that you are. You set such an awesome example for my 2 boys to follow. You are just everything a little boy is supposed to be, and we could not love you more. So happy birthday.

Snug as a bug in a rug. Sorry family to all of you that could hear Carson telling us his version of bedtime stories. From what I could tell he was talking about alot of crashes and falling, a goofyramp (whatever that is) and people making him nervous. Seriously, where does this kid come from.


Next morning, Thiago and I woke up early so he could drive me home. I had to get showered and ready for work. He went back up to camp, to have fun without me. Here is Ash feeding the babies breakfast. Thanks so much Ash, for all of your help. Thiago says he couldn't have done it without you.


Everybody else was up and going by about 8:00. Not this boy. Finally rolled out of his tent at 10:30, what a kid. Loves his sleep.



Kids all spent the day swimming of course.



I got there that afternoon. Just in time to go miniature golfing. FUN...all the kids loved this. Usually we have one or two that aren't interested in whatever activity we are doing. We finally found something that everyone likes. They had so much fun and were so cute. Mr. Brev even got a hole in one.



Every Saturday night at Cherry Hill they have a free concert. My uncle Steve and his little band "Bishop Rock" performed that night. My uncle used to be the bishop in their ward and for a ward talent show they started this little band. They are actually quite good, and people keep asking them to perform. So they did.


Such a fun memory for our kids. They ran around, danced, sang, clapped their hands, played with the other kids there at the concert. Just a perfect night to be a kid. Made me think of those careless summer nights when I was a kid. Love to watch my boy run and laugh and just have fun. Makes me happy that he leads such a happy, content little life. Glad we can give him that.


Thiago's parents came that night for the concert. Which of course made my Lincoln Bujaou happy. Loves his Vovo. Sound asleep the minute his grandpa took him. So sweet!


Thanks family for the fun time. We loved every minute of it, and will look back on this weekend with some happy memories.
