Island Park....Round 2!!

Keep meaning to get the rest of these pictures up, finally got around to it tonight. On the fourth day we drove up to the top peak in Island Park...it has a name but of course I can't remember it. It took about an hour to get up there and at times I couldn't look down the mountain cause it kinda freaked me out. We were so high, and the little road was so narrow. Scary! Once we got up there though...holy smokes, so beautiful. I can't even believe how absolutely breathtaking it was up there.

Of course the picture doesn't do it justice, just a little glimpse of the beauty. If you can't tell it was FREEZING up there, the whole trip was cold but this was horribly cold. My poor babies were just a shivering...so worth it though. Carson thought it was so cool, he was just running around and loving it. I don't think he even felt the cold. Lincoln however came out for a few pictures, then I stuck him back in the car. Too cold for my little fella.

Group shot of some of us.

Ahhh, these two just crack me up, boy oh boy do I sure love em though.

How cute is this picture....seriously. Just standing there, gazing at all the beauty surrounding him. My boy has an eye for pretty things.

On the way back down the mountain there was this meadow with beautiful wild flowers. My aunt stopped to pick some and we all thought it would be a great photo oppurtunity.

Sandy gathered the biggest bouquet...but Cars was right behind her. He loves that kind of thing, shocker right.

Tons and tons of flower pictures...I just couldn't narrow it down.

Went back into town for a few hours and we all split up and kinda did our own thing. Me and my boys and Theo and Ash were all starving so we ate at this cute little pizza place.

Little more shopping and of course a few shots of Carson sitting on one of the many bulls. The signs all say no climbing or sitting on, but do you think we listened to that. Nope.

That night all the little kids decided to get in the cabin's hot tub. They all know Lincoln loves his bathtime, so they thought why not just get him in. Next thing I know they had him stripped down to his diaper and he was floating away in that tub. (Don't worry, it was mildly warm....not hot, just like a bathtub).

To say he loved it would be a serious understatement. He was so content, just sat there like a little fat cat. He would lay his head back in the water and just sit there. So cute!!! Pretty soon we just took off his diaper completely, it was huge and doing him no good. So he was a little naked jaybird floating in that tub.

The kids all tried every night to convince Carson to get in. I don't know what his deal was, he was being such a chicken. Which is so not like him. Finally after Lincoln got in he decided it was safe. And low and behold, he loved it. Couldn't get him back out.

Carson had so much fun with all his little cousins.

Group shot the morning we left. It went fuzzy but you get the idea. All in all it was a much needed, very appreciated, absolutely fantastic trip. I love my family so much and am so grateful for the good times we were able to share. Thanks again for the invite and we are already looking forward to it again next year.

Great pictures, those flower ones are so beautiful especially that one with Car surrounded by them all, I am sure he was right behind Sandy helping gathering them all up. It looks like so much fun, I am always okay about missing it until I see the pictures then I get sad about missing it, next year for sure Eric has already promised me even if we have to leave a day early or something...
