Happy 26!

My honey is turning 26 tomorrow. My goodness sakes he is getting old (well I guess I should say we, being as I am only 5 months behind him). Seems like we were just barely 17, and here we are almost a decade later. Yikes! Anyways, just wanted to tell the little guy to have a great day and let him know how much his little family loves him. I think I will just list 5 of the many things I love about Thiago. I could go on an on, but here are a few of my favorites.

1. He is the most easygoing guy EVER!! I swear nothing gets him upset or annoyed. He married a very highstrung person, I go on and on about the dumbest things. I worry and worry about things that are out of my control, and he is always the sane one that brings me back down. He is such a go with the flow kind of guy, he is happy with whatever, whenever, whoever...makes no difference.

2. He is also the kindest person you will ever meet. There is not a person in this world, who meets my husband and doesn't instantly like him. He is such a people person, he can makes friends with just about anybody. He also has the best heart (this is where my Carson gets it from, certainly not his mom) he can see the good in everybody and makes everyone around him feel important and special. He never judges, never makes fun, never talks behind your back...he is just a genuinly nice guy!

3. He is such a hardworker. I swear nothing makes him tired, the poor guy goes and goes all day long and still comes home with a smile on his face. He works full time, goes to school, coaches 2 soccer teams, takes such good care of our house projects and yard, and still finds time to be an amazing husband and father. He does anything and everything for me, without me even having to ask. I don't know where he gets all of his energy, but I am sure grateful he has got it.

4. He values his family!! This is huge to me. I don't know if it is the way he was brought up or just part of his unique goodness. But our little family and his extended family are the MOST important things to him. Their is nothing he wouldn't do for us. We always say that the older we get the more boring we are, we don't go out a whole lot. Our weeknights and weekends are basically spent with just the 3 of us hanging out together. We are basically kind of homebodys, but we both love it that way. Thiago always says the best part of his day is walking in the door, coming home to me and Carson. What a guy, I love him for that.

5. He is my best friend! Funny how when you first get married, sure you like each other...you even kind of love each other. But every day I swear I love him more and more. He is not only my husband, but my best friend, my partner in everything I do. He is my security, my support, pretty much my everything. I love to watch the little life we are building together, the family that we are raising, and the memories we are making. I don't know who I am without him, he is been by my side for as long as I can remember. I know he always will be.
