Can I just say how sick I am of our family being sick. Honestly, we have never had a winter quite like this one. Between me, Carson, and Lincoln we are just passing sicknesses back and forth. I don't know why Thiago has lucked out so far, maybe it has something to do with the airborn express he drinks every single night. He swears by that stuff....maybe he's right though.
Poor Carson though, this is about as bad as it gets. He started running a fever yesterday out of no where. He was fine one minute and the next he was whiney, tired and a little lethargic. I thought oh no, here we go again. Within a couple of hours he was on fire. I had never felt someone so hot..104. was his final temprature (and that is with Tylenol in his system). I started freaking as I always do. Called Wee-care, cause it was evening and took him in. Sure enough, strep throat.
So this has been him for the last 24 hours. Laying around, all cuddled up with his blankets, watching movie after movie. He is such a good little patient. Never even fusses....as long as I keep the alligator (gatorade) coming. For some reason he calls it alligator. He has now had a couple doses of the amoxicillin and motrin in him, and he is starting to feel better. Hopefully, he has a speedy recovery and the rest of us don't get it.

Ter you can really tell he is sick in that picture of the risk of sounding like Granny O he really is so pale. Poor little guy I hope the rest of you don't come down with it too. Alligator that's funny he calls gatorade that, hope you are keeping him stocked up with that and the icecream. Give him a kiss from me!
Those are the saddest picture :( We have been lucky this winter each kid has been sick for a day or so and done. Spring is around the corner!
Poor little boys!! That last picture is just so sad you can just see how sick he is. I hope he gets feeling better soon!
Having sick kids totally stinks! And when you're not feeling well on top of that it is the worst! I hope Carson gets feeling better soon, poor little guy.
Kade has been downing the gatorade as well, but still hasn't eaten much solids this past week. Hopefully spring will get here and we can all start to enjoy life outside of our bedrooms!
How sad is that? Sick kids are no fun. I hope he gets better fast!
Your poor family. Strep really sucks. I hope he feels better soon. I loved your Valentine's Day post. I'm glad you enjoyed your Olive Garden!!! We loved ours.
I am sorry that the little guy is sick. Let me know if you need anything.. He looks so cute in that picture, I kind of like when my kids are sick they are so loving!
Poor little "pale" boy (that was a good one Jenny)...hope he hasn't suffered too much. Does he need me to bring him a prize?
You really need to come listen to this thing on natural oils. I have had very healthy children for the first time in years. Gehrig has not even been sick one time. I have been using these oils. They have helped Robbi with ear infections and also with yucky nose. I think they are worth the money and most of all all natural. Tell Carson we love him and get better!
Poor guy! I hope he starts feeling better soon!
That is the sorry'est little face ever, how sad. I feel for ya, we've had a winter like that - thank goodness it wasn't this one with the bubba. Get better soon!
That is so sad! It is so hard when your little kids are so sick, you feel so heartbroken for them!
Poor guy. This has been the worst winter for our family too. It seems that we can't stop being sick. I am soo ready for spring time. Hopefully this is the last of it and you'll be able to enjoy good health again.
