Bunkin' Buddies..

Well, we made the big crossover. We are officially the proud owners of bunk beds, nothing says mother of boys more than bunkbeds. Baby Drake is taking over Lincoln's old room (with a few, new little additions) which means Carson and Lincoln are now roommates. Carson's room is way to tiny for twin beds, so bunkbeds was really our only option.

Here is a few more shots of their shared space...

Some details..

My goal is to have most everything ready for the baby by the end of this month. I want to give December my full attention, and not be doing things such as switching out closets, going through Lincoln's old clothes and pulling them out for Drake, scrubbing nursery walls etc, etc, etc. The boys room is now complete and I am almost done with Drake's, he just needs a few odds and ends. All I can say is thank heavens this little guy is another boy, I COULD NOT afford a girl. I don't know what I would have done trying to redo the boys' room and do a little girl nursery.

Now for the most important question...what do these new little roomies think about their new beds.

Those smiles pretty much say it all. This seriously could have been Carson's one and only Christmas present, he was that excited about it. And Lincoln pretty much thinks he is the coolest thing ever. I am a little concerned for his safety however, I can't tell you how many times I have walked into the room and caught him up on the top jumping. So far he has been really careful, but he makes me nervous. They both are sleeping absolutely great, haven't even skipped a beat on their schedules. Its a win/win for us all!

Wow their rooms look SO cute! I love the bunkbeds. The boys look so happy to be sharing a room too. You are on top of things. And even getting stuff done so that you can just enjoy December, good for you.

Oh and thank you for your sweet comment on my wiww post. But I must say, I have seen your pictures, (I told Jenny this same thing) and pregnant or not you are adorable and you could too participate in that! I know I'd love your outfits. I have so far. :)

Holy perfect. Do you want to come help with my girls room? I've had my heart set on a white bunkbed, but I've put it off, living in fear andelyn will plummet off the top bunk in the middle of the night.
I know - all it would take is one fall for her to stay on the bed, but seriously! I'm scared! What if she broke her arm!?!

Whats up with teeny rooms too!? It drives me nuts...

I have to say I am slightly concerned with the idea of Lincoln on a bunk bed, trouble!! Good thing he is on the bottom. You are officially a mom of boys, how does it feel? It's pefect so perfect, looked even greater in person today.

I think the room looks great. I love the idea of bunk beds since they take up less space. I also love your boy's comforters. Hunter is dying for a new sports themed one.

They look as happy as little piggies in mud. Just think of all the adventures they have ahead of them... sleeping together in the same room, their new bunk beds, getting into all sorts of mischief at night and all that brother bonding. Great stuff for sure and I'm so excited for them both. The room looks great...every kid should be so blessed.

That's so nice they can share a room! They look so excited to have their new bunk bed! I think you did a great job at decorating, it's a lot of work and money! It was so nice seeing you the other night, you are DARLING pregnant, it makes me want to be pregnant again! Can't wait for January!

CUTE!!! I love bunk beds, I always wanted them when I was little. One of the things I loved most about going to camp when I was younger was getting to sleep in the bunks - but I always had to have the top. I had a fear that somehow the top bunk would fall on me if I slept on the bottom bunk - on the flip side I had a fear that I would roll off the top! Thankfully neither happened so were good!
