Easter Sunday

Okay...here are the rest of our Easter pics. We had a great day, I just love Easter. New clothes, candy, spring colors, the sun shining (usually), its just a great day and really gets me excited for spring and summer. We just got up and went to church and we were actually pretty close to being on time. We are always late, no matter what time our church starts. We are only on time when we have to give the sacrament prayers, which is actually this next week. Anyways, church was wonderful. It is so nice to go and listen to testimonies of our Savior and to remember his atoning sacrifice. I teach the Sunbeams so I didn't get to listen to the Relief Society lesson, but thats okay, cause Sacrament was great. After church we showed Carson what the Easter bunny brought him. I had been telling Carson all morning to be a good boy so the Easter bunny would come to our house, well Carson thought he was literally going to see the bunny. He kept checking out our front window to see if he had arrived yet. He was a little confused when we brought the present out and there was no bunny. Oh well. After that we went out and helped Carson look for his Easter eggs that the bunny hid. It was just the 3 of us, and Carson loved it. He took forever to find them all, he would walk right by the eggs and Thiago and I would have to say "Carson, stop, look right here." Goof ball. After that we went to the Cano's and had a great Easter dinner, way to much food and it was so good. I was stuffed. Then Thiago's family also had a little easter egg hunt for Carson and more presents. He is one spoiled kid. All in all, it was a great day, filled with lots of wonderful, new memories!

That is so funny about the bunny. Sometimes I guess we don't think about what we are saying and how our kids will interpret it. I can just picture his little face when he realizes the bunny isn't coming.

Teri,
I love your blog! You guys make such a cute family! I have loved reading about what you are up to now days. Reading about Carson sure has been fun and entertaining. We couldn't even tell our three year old, Brooke, where the eggs came from because she is TERRIFIED of the easter bunny. Not sure what she really thought about it, but she loves candy, so she probably didn't really care where it came from. Anyways, it was good to "catch" up with your family. Love, Brea Wentz
