Its your birthday...

My mom celebrated her 57th this past week and we got together to take her to lunch at one of our favorites "The Greenery" in Ogden. Sorry mom I am a little behind in posting this but better late than never. Here goes my birthday tradition of seeing how well I know her.

1. She is sitting in front of the TV, what is on the screen? This is a hard one cause my mom really doesn't watch all that much TV. All of you that know her, know she just goes, goes, goes and has a hard time just sitting. The only shows she occasionally watches is American Idol and Dancing with the Stars. Very occasionally though.

2. You are out to eat, what kind of dressing does she get on her salad? Ranch, unless we are at Maddox then Thousand Island. That is kind of a Williams girl thing, we all do that.

3. What is one meal she doesn't like? She is not a picky eater, the only thing she has a hard time with is Chinese Casserole...you know the one with rice, hamburger and the chinese noodles. She got really sick on that one time when she was pregnant with me and Jen and has a hard time with it ever since.

4. You go out to eat, what does she order to drink. Diet Coke, makes me so mad cause sometimes I will want a sip of her drink and its DIET..yuck, I hate diet.

5. Where did she go to school? Boxelder....the BEE's.

6. What size shoe does she wear? 5, tiniest feet EVER!

7. If she were to collect anything what would it be? Hmmmm, well probably decorations, christmas decorations to be more specific. She loves , loves, loves making her home pretty. Guess that is where me and my sisters get it from.

8. Whats her favorite type of sandwich...well she likes veggie, french dip and turkey.

9. What would she eat every day if she could? The only thing she has to have every day is a diet coke.

10. Whats her favorite cereal? Frosted Mini Wheats.

11. What would she never wear? I don't know...a two piece I guess.

12. What are her favorite sports teams? She could care less, not a sports fan. Used to kinda follow along for my dads sake but she doesn't really care.

13. Who did she vote for? Mccain

14. Who is her best friend? Deano...and then me and my sisters.

15. What is something you do that she wishes you didn't? Um, worry and stress to much. She is always telling me to chill out and go with the flow. To bad I don't listen.

16. What is her heritage? American...well our ancestors came from England, so I don't know.

17. You bake her a cake for her birthday what kind is it. Judy's white cake or carrot cake she likes that too.

18. Did she play any sports in highschool? Heck no, we get our lack of coordination from her.

19. What could she spend hours doing? Decorating, cleaning, cross-stitching, reading, decorating, playing with her kids and grandkids, baking....all of those things.

20. What is something unique about her. Well my grandma claims my mom was born with a tooth, which is pretty odd. We all don't know if my granny's memory is very accurate on that one but Gran swears it is true. I think her most unique talent however is her sense of loyalty. She is loyal and true through and through. She makes the ideal friend cause you know she can be trusted, relied upon, honest and always there for you. She is as tough as they come, she may be small but this girl was built tough. Nothing gets to her, she has overcome so much in her life. She is a true example to me, and I love her more than anything. Happy birthday mommy-dear, so grateful to have you and look forward to another year of wonderful memories. Love you forever and ever.

I have to agree with you on all those things! Your mom really is the best...the best second mom I could have ever asked for! I really sometimes miss being able to hang out at your house! Always the best feeling going to your moms house...even still the few times I have gotten the chance!
