Happy Hauntings...with Yoda and a Jedi!

Cars chose a Jedi for his costume this year which by default makes Lincoln a baby Yoda. I wanted them to match, and Lincoln has no opinion. So there you go.

Probably my favorite costume of Carson's...I just thought he looked so stinkin cute. It just fit him so cute and is just so him. I loved it. He actually got a lot of wear out of it to which is good. He got to wear it to preschool, I had a work Halloween party, and to get his picture and Halloween. So I felt like we got our money's worth.

We need to make some Halloween changes...so much running around and not nearly enough playing. We always have to make the rounds, which is great to see everyone but I just don't think it is fair to my kids. Luckily this year they both still don't care, but as soon as they are old enough to really get into it all.....we stay home. So grandparents, be prepared.

Yep, I am like super original. I wore the same scrubs I wore last year. Only difference is I am not hugely pregnant. Haha. Seriously though, we dressed up for work and me and the two other girls on the loan side decided to all wear scrubs. Well they were comfy and I was trying to hurry so I just kept them on for the rest of the day. You know how it goes. Sucky that holidays keep falling on the one day I work. Annoying.

Stopped at "Jeff's" as Carson now calls him. No more papa or Grandpa...nope its Jeff. Makes my dad crazy.

My dad's wife Lori is a Star Wars fan, and has a bunch of toys. She got them out to show Carson. He was a definite fan, if it had been up to him he would have just stayed there all night and played with this ship. Forget the parties and trick or treating....all he cared about was those toys.

Yoda, my little Yoda was all about the candy. Boy after my own heart, he already loves candy like his momma. We like the sweet stuff.

Finally talked Carson in to doing some trick or treating. We went out for awhile at my dads house and then for another 45 minutes or so at my inlaws. I was pushing Carson to keep going (I wanted a full bucket) but he got bored so we called it quits. I am a great mom, aren't I??

Next stop was the Canos. They were having all the Brazilians over but we left just as everyone was getting there. Busy, busy.

Well, that was enough celebrating for Yoda. Sound asleep, after we left my dads. Guess he had enough.

Last stop my moms....yummy food like always. I get to sit and talk with my sisters and mom and the kids can play together and just have fun. Probably their favorite part of the night, like I said my kids were content with the way our night played out. Kinda wears me out running here and there but as long as my little ones are happy then so am I.

I didn't know Cars calls dad Jeff when did that start, that's so funny. I bet that makes dad mad....funny duck. I know I agree it's so hard making the rounds to everybody, it wouldn't be so bad if it was just one or two but we had to go to five places, next year it's just not happening....

The boys look adorable! Love it! And I know what you mean by the Halloween night I was so exhausted I did nothing but sit on the couch Sunday! But boy the kids have fun. We visited the grandparents early so we could trick-r-treat around our house and pass out treats and it worked out well!

I am so with you on the running around to everyone's houses. Next year I'm telling all the grandparents to come to our house before trick or treating to see the costumes! It just gets to crazy!

I can not stop laughing right now at lincoln's costume. I love that and he has the perfect little head shape for that too! Oh my heck! I hate holidays when they feel like all you do is run around and I am sure it is hard cause your family is all spread out too.

That is funny about Carson calling you Dad Jeff. Jax did that for a while and my Dad got mad too. Its funny!

I decided this year that everyone was coming to us if they wanted to see the kids and they did. It was so much fun!

Your kids look adorable, I love the baby yoda, so cute and Carson is a little stud machine. Love it!

Oh I love their costumes! So so so cute! I totally know how you feel about having to go tons of places on Halloween. I wish Halloween was on Saturday every year just for that reason.
