CoUnTy FaIr FuN!!

Ahhhh, fall is in the air....do you feel it???

Candy covered apples
Smelly, but lovable farm animals
Distant screams coming from the Tilt-A-Whirl
and brilliant lights every where you look.

Yep, for our family...fall starts out with the Box Elder County fair. Ever since I was little, we know the last week of August brings fair fun. I love it, I think I always will. After all, life is built on memories...and this is a memory I hold dear.




Pretty sure my babies thought they had died and gone to heaven. It was all I could do to shove some food down those little throats, and let them have at their fun.


This boy was just anxiously anticipating those rides...every single one of them. Even the ones he was too tiny to ride...some day my boy, some day.


And I ask you, how long do you think my tiniest tot lasted in this stroller...not long, not long at all.



And the fun begins, the lines were long but we made it through.

And the big yellow slide, you all know the one. Here is my scary moment of the night, after all it seems every outing these days has one. My children are wild animals lately, and I can't keep up. Ash was sweet enough to take Mr. Lincoln down...he had the time of his life, of course. However, at the end of the slide, she sets Lincoln down for a sec and turns to collect Brevin. Well, someone left the gate open and out runs my baby. I was watching from the other end of the ride...I swear I have never moved so fast. I ran, and shoved my way through crowds of people looking at me as if I had gone insane. As I turned a corner, I could see Lincoln's little head bobbing along, turning another corner. I was shoving my way through, trying to reach him, afraid I would lose track of his tiny little dot of a head. Finally, after what seemed an eternity the crowds parted and I snatched him up. My heart was pounding, I hate moments like that. I still shiver thinking about it. He was so fast, and there were so many people, and such a huge distance between the two of us. It scared me, and I held my little boy extra tight that night.

After that little incident, daddy wasn't about to let him free. I took the chance to snap a few candid picture of the two of them. Look at those expressions..love it!


And my favorite part of the fair, the food...oh how I love the food!


What about this little face, safe to say he was enjoying that cotton candy. This picture makes me smile every time.
