Roastin' Mallows..

Some of this....

and a roaring one of these....

makes for a great night as far as our family is concerned....Yum, aren't you just hungry looking at that. I am.

At the start of the summer, Thiago absolutely insisted we buy one of these little firepits. At first I thought it was going to be a complete waste of money, however I can't believe how much we have used this thing. We love it!!

Any night that we don't have a whole lot going on, we light it up. I make sure to have Smore makings on hand....you never know when we are going to be ready for one. My kids love it. You would think it was Christmas morning the way Carson reacts every time we tell him we are going to light the fire. And Lincoln, well he's Lincoln. Unfortunately he spends most of his time trapped in his highchair, while we shove food at his face trying to keep him preoccupied. If he is set free, he just gets a little too close to that hot flame. Poor kid, wonder when we are going to be able to let him have a little more freedom. Guess when he starts behaving himself. Ahhh, summer....wish it would just keep on going.

I need to come and enjoy it a few more times. I love smores. Souli not so much, but what does he like when it comes to sweets. Cute pictures of my boys. Poor little Lincoln. If he would only learn to behave himself what a whole new life he would have. He's so cute. He was delightful when he woke up from his nap today. Love you kids so much. Thanks for the memories I get to share with them.

So many things make me laugh about this post. One how old Lincoln looks is it just because I know he is going to be a big brother or what but good heavens he looks like a big boy in these pictures. Two remember how you guys always use to make fun of me how I would strap Luke into his stroller everywhere we went, well payback has come now you know what I went through all those years. Freedom will come for him when he is 3 and a half years old and then you still have to have a tight reign on him. And three that picture of the marshmellow only is so cool, it looks 3D like it's coming at me or something. Cute post, next time invite me over!

What a fun, mouth watering post. What is it about the Lincoln that just makes me smile and want to be a part of where he's at? Carson looks like he can make a pretty good smor there...cute pictures of a family having fun.

That's so funny, Jeff has been wanting one for a long time! We didn't know if we would use it much either, but on all the nights when we are sitting around doing nothing, Jeff says see wouldn't it be nice if we had a fire pit! Too fun, glad the kids love it!

I'm sorry to hear about Carson, poor little guy! He is a trooper and I'm sure all will be fine for him. He is in our prayers!

I love the fire pit. We have a been wanting one for years but just have never gotten around to getting one or designating a place for it. I know how Thiago loves his smores though. Hope your family is doing great!

I just got home from camping and was catching up on your blog. I can't belive what is going on with Carson's heart. I know you are so glad that your doctor is overly cautious. It is a scary thing but I'm so glad that it is managable and hope that he never needs the surgary.

I love your somors. I think I need to go make one. Although I'm done with fire's for a while. Hope work was ok today and that you missed me a ton! =) just kidding
