It's Your Birthday...Shout Hurray!!

Little Lance turned 3 years old yesterday!! Yikes...that means my Carsy-boy is next. Jen, how is it possible that we have 3 years old, I just can't believe it. It feels like just yesterday that we sat there in your hospital room, holding little Lance. All 4 pounds of him, he was so tiny. I thought every time we changed his diaper we were going to snap his leg right off. Now look at him, he is the tallest 3 year old ever, and also the absolute cutest. This year was extra special, because this is the first birthday we have ever got to share with our Lance. The past 2 he has been in Kentucky, so we are so glad they were here, and we all got to celebrate with this little guy. We had a great day, the weather was perfect (now tomorrow it is supposed to be back in the 60's, nice June). We started off by taking the kids to the Treehouse Museum in Ogden. Believe it or not, I had never been. I thought it was so much fun, the kids were in heaven getting to run around from one thing to the next. It was great to just watch them have fun, and not be worrying all of the time about what they aren't supposed to be touching.

Here is Ash and Brev sticking theirs heads out of a little tree, Carson wouldn't hold still long enough to take his picture.

I didn't get one picture of Carson smiling all day long. He was just way to busy!!

The birthday boy!!

Two little firechiefs...this is the only thing these two fought over. They both wanted to be the one sitting up front steering, and Carson did not understand the concept of sharing. He was so mad he flung himself out, and cracked his lip a little bit, oh well, a little blood never hurt anything!

Carson and the kitchen...probably his favorite thing there.

He also loved this little baby...like I say he has the softest heart. He just kept hugging the baby and patting her little back. What a great big brother he is going to make. I hope!

Later that night we went over to Jen's inlaws with our family and Eric's family for a BBQ and cake and icecream. Yum!!

Carson having a heart to heart with Tam....don't you just love his necklaces. Weirdo!

Little Luke, what an angel baby. He is so good ALL the time. Half the time we forget he is there. He sat in this little baby swing all by himself staring at a fence for like a half hour. He is such a sweetheart!

What a chicken. Carson begged to get on the trampoline, but he didn't want anyone else to jump cause he didn't want to fall. The only way he would stay up there, is if my mom held his hands and jumped with him. Good old Grandma...thats what they are for.

Lance opening his presents. He was so funny, my mom gave him Mack off Cars (the big diesel that carries Mcqueen). He has a big back that opens up into a race course and he can also store all his little cars in there. It was the first present he opened. It would be an understatement to say that he LOVED it!! He wasn't interested in opening up anything else once he got his Mack.

Boys and their toys. How fun. That is so exciting this was the 1st b-day you have spent with him. It's ok because he won't remember the previous years. Well happy b-day Lance!

I know I was so darn excited to be able to have someone other than our little family to celebrate the day. I am missing you all too, I hate the first night pack. It is so depressing and overwhelming but the countdown is on only 42 days. Yeah!

It was a fun birthday I do love that boy. I can't believe my little nephews are three they still just seem like babies and born yesterday. They are getting so big.
