My family has all done this tag, and I have had so much fun reading all of theirs. I decided I had to try it myself. I tend to ramble quite a bit, so I will try to keep it simple. I thought this would be fun for me to think back on, but I realize it might be kinda boring for all of you. Oh well.. here goes.
20 year ago? Well I was 5, so that is hard to think back that far. I loved my childhood, I have the best memories. I loved growing up with my 2 sisters, we had so much fun together, and did the craziest things. We lived in Tremonton with the rest of my dads family, including my Grandpa and Grandpa Williams, and my two uncles and aunts and their families. Like my sisters have mentioned, I was running around with the 2 of them and my cute cousin Randy Jo (by the way, thanks for the phone call the other day, that made me laugh). I had the best parents ever, my mom was forever helping us come up with new games and ideas, she was the best mom. I always felt so safe and happy and loved. Can't ask for more than that.
10 years ago? I was 15, I think just about ready to start highschool. Crazy, cause I had just met Thiago, and we hung out a lot that summer. Well, as much as 15 year olds do. I had my crazy group of friends...Jen, Stace, Teryl, Deeann and Beka. We were as weird as ever and always together. I was saving up every penny I had for new clothes and all those other girly things. Oh fun times.
5 years ago? I was a cute little newlywed, for less than a month. We were getting settled in our little townhouse and I was loving it. Alot of people say their first year of marriage was the hardest, but not me. I LOVED it!! We were so carefree and were having so much fun being on our own. Thiago was going to school and we were both working full time. I was moving up the America first career path, I had been a lead teller at a branch for about 2 years and was making pretty good money. With both of us working full time, and not really a whole lot of bills to pay, we had more than enough money. We spent all of our time playing, and didn't have a whole lot of worries.
3 years ago? This was also a great time. I was 37 weeks pregnant with Carson and so ready to be done with the whole pregnancy thing. Jenny was about to have Lance, and I was so irritated, cause my due date was before hers. And there she sat with her little newborn, already looking skinny. While I was still huge and uncomfortable and scared to death of labor and delivery. I spent all my time washing and rewashing his little clothes, going through his drawers, organizing every thing and just wishing 40 weeks would get here. I had high blood pressure, so I wasn't going to work, I was on partial bed rest. Which basically just meant be careful.
1 year ago? Kind of a hard time, we were still trying to get over the last miscarriage and wanted another baby so very bad. Thiago was forever optimisic and so reassuring. I was kinda losing it, I honestly don't think I have ever felt so sad and dissapointed in life. I was getting terrible headaches everyday from the stress of the losses and of trying. I was not a very fun person to be around, I was trying to fake my way through life, trying to be happy and carefree cause I knew that is what Carson and Thiago needed and deserved in a mom and a wife. But it was hard, I learned alot of lessons about myself and having faith and trusting in my father heaven. Looking back I am grateful for these trials, I have grown from them and learned much.
So far this year..Our lives really dont change that much from year to year. Obviously the most exciting is our little one on the way. Funny how life works, I would not have thought that at the end of 2008, I would be a new mom again. My greatest little Christmas present will be arriving just in time for all the holidays. Thiago will be just about done with school, cross your fingers that he can just push through. We are hoping a year from now he will be done. I keep getting closer and closer to being a stay at home mom, I went from 40 hours, to 30, to 15 and now finally 10. Love it, love it.
Yesterday..boring day!! Cleaning day, never very exciting. Got my whole house clean and all my laundry done. It was actually kinda nice, cause it rained and rained yesterday so it was a good day to be all cozied in. Made a new recipe for dinner that turned out well, and then stayed up to make chocolate chip cookies for a soccer meeting that Thiago has tonight.
Today..even more boring. It is my one long day to work, so I am here from 8:30-6:00. Oh well at least it is just the 1 day. And my sisters and dad are coming to take me to lunch. Thiago is having a soccer meeting at our house tonight for his new team and their parents. Hopefully we can have it outside, cause I sure as heck don't want all those people in my clean house. If not we just cleaned out the garage so we will pull it in there if we have to.
Tomorrow. Much better day, Carson's B-day is in 2 weeks so I am trying to get everything ready. Having Brazilian heritage we like to throw huge parties. I need to run around and get the rest of the decorations and that kind of thing, plus run to Toys R Us and get him a few more presents. I need to finish my primary lesson for Sunday so I don't have to worry about that on Saturday. And then at night me and Jen are going to see my friend Teryl's new baby boy. Cute, little Cohen born on June 3rd. Nothing like a newborn.

This was fun, I love thinking back on different time in your life. That was so funny when I had Lance and you were so jealous. You kept saying how skinny I was and really I was a fat cow still but I guess next to a very pregnant about to pop girl I would appear really skinny. I hated last year you were always so sad, I can't tell you how happy I am to have my Teri back. Trials are good we learn to much from them to not appreciate them, after that is.
I don't know how you remeber all of that! I can't even remember what I did 1 week ago. Time goes by so fast. It seems like just yesterday that you were having Carson and now he is almost 3.
Cute post I remember all those times. I can't believe you've been with Thiago 10 years. He has always been my big brother. When Carson and Lance were born that is one of the highlights of my life. Nothing better then being an aunt. I boy am I glad the baby blues are over now we can look forward to baby Lincoln.
I really like this post! It funny to hear about all the silly things that happened in the past! And its crazy thinking back to all of the things we think we may not get over, but when we look back there was always a reason!
P.s June 3rd! ha ha
WOW. that was a lot of memories and very fun to read. I need to try that when I get more than a min in the day! Ü
You are so cute!
That was a very cute post. That is to bad that you felt like you had to pretend to be happy from day to day, well I am glad your prayers were answered and that you learned from your trials. I cannot believe carson is almost 3, oh how time flies.
I enjoyed reading this post and learned a little more about you! It's funny how we appreciate trials once they're over. Congrats to Terryl!
This was such a fun tag to read. I am so happy that you will be blessed with Lincoln. Miscarriages can be so hard. It was neat to learn more about your expiriences.
Cute reflection tag! we are so dumb huh? Well your welcome for the phone call I just wanted you to know that no matter how hard we are trying to potty train we are not perfect! Got to love it! Can you believe all these kids are going to be three!
