The big "80" ...WOW!

My sweet Grandpa Williams turned 80 years old this past week. Goodness, it kinda scares me. I am lucky enough to have 4 sets of grandparents that I am close with and so far only 1 grandpa has passed away. The older I get, the older my grandparents obviously get and I know every chance I get to be with them is very special. I shouldn't have favorites but this Grandpa is most defintely my favorite. I love this man so much. We have always been very close to my dads side of the family and I have so many special memories that all start with my grandparents. It will be a sad day for me when he is no longer around cause I just love him so much!!

My little grandma threw a surprise party at my Grandpa's most favorite restaurant. "The Crossroads" in little Tremonton, Utah. This place has been a family favorite for years, I don't know how many of you know that I lived in Tremonton until I was 8 years old. My grandparents live there as well as my 2 uncles and aunts and their families. We have had so many family dinners here that it is obviously a very special place for us. Here is my dad and his 2 brothers and my grandparents. Handsome family...don't you think??

I know, I know this picture wasn't taken at the party, but I still liked it.

It was a great party and I love every oppurtunity I get to be with my Williams family. We are a great big, crazy group of people that all started when my cute little grandparents fell in love over 50 years ago. Look at the legacy they are leaving behind...3 sons, 3 daughters in laws, 15 grandkids, 5 spouses of grandkids, and 7 great grandkids soon to be 8, right Jo! Love you Grandpa, so much and pray that we still have some great years left and more memories to build!!

Your pictures are a lot cuter than the ones I got, you got some great ones, I love the one of you and Grandpa. Your post made me cry, it will be a sad day when Grandpa is no longer around, lets hope he goes till 100, at this rate I think we have a good chance of that. In no way does he act 80.

So fun! That is amazing you still have so many of your Grandparents around! You really are a close family, that it just wonderful, I love that you are all so close! What a great way to spend an 80th birthday party!

Okay so Carson is so dang funny, I laughed at your comment so much! What a cute boy. Mitchell even started to not like the game, but I kept him going enough to get all the info I needed!

I loved your post just as much as I loved Jenny's. Grandpa is going to live to be like 120 yrs old or something. Who runs like him still? Glad you guys got to come up. I am also glad little Lincoln let me snuggle and kiss him while you were up. That made my day.
