Can I just say how much I love Carson's preschool. This is a big part of his little life right now, and I just wanted to type up a quick post about it so the two of us could remember. He comes home with the cutest little projects each day. Every day they have a theme, and there is always a little art project to go along with it. I get so excited to see what he has made, and lets face it he gets pretty dang excited to show me.
Being a mom and all, I obviously save every little treasure he comes home with. When he first comes home with something, I hang it front and center on my fridge. When he gets something new, I take down the old one and place it in my filing system downstairs. Then I hang up the new artwork on the fridge. We are getting quite the little collection.
I am so glad that his first taste of the "school experience" is a good one. He just loves it. Every day he asks me if he is going to school. He talks about "Miss Sarah" non-stop. He loves her. He talks about his 4 little friends...Mia, Isabel, Saxton, and Carter. Should I be concerned that 3 out of the 4 are girls, hmmm. I love watching him walk out of his little classroom, surrounded by his little pals and a huge smile on his face.
Thiago and I set all sorts of New Years resolutions for our family. So when Carson came home with Januarys calendar, announcing that January is reading month we decided to throw that in there as well. I would love to take the credit on that one, but in actuality it was his dad. Thiago is big into making sure our kids are well-rounded little creatures. He is pretty strict on limiting their TV, introducing them to lots of activities (not just sports) and making sure they take time out to read.
Every night after prayer and scripture, this is how I find the two of them. We are really trying to get our kids into a better night time routine. And so far it is working well. Anyways, so their is my little report on Carson's first sememster of preschool. It is an absolute joy to him, and I am so glad. Many thanks to Mrs. Sarah for making it such a memorable experience for my little guy.
Little added picture here. I was pretty intent on getting all of my Christmas taken down today and was kinda in my own little world getting things redecorated. It was past Lincoln's normal nap time, but he was playing pretty contently in his highchair so I left him be and went about my business. Next thing I know the little fella is sound asleep. Whoops, guess he was pretty tired.

Now I feel kinda guilty that I never keep Lance's stuff he bring home from preschool. I hang it on the fridge that first week and then down it goes to be replaced. Should I be saving it all, like you? That's my favorite thing about Lance's preschool too, I love watching him walk out chatting to all of his buddies. Makes me want to be a kid again.

Carson is a doll! I love his cute little smile. I have to admit that I think Ashton is extremely bigger than him. What preschool does Carson go to?

I am so impressed with Carson's school. Hunter's school does projects every day too, but not as fun as those. Also, his calender isn't nearly as detailed as Carsons. Looks like he is in a great school. Isn't it fun to hear about their little friends and adventures. I love that part.
