Tomorrow, May 17th marks our seventh anniversary, and nope no itch here. I can't believe its been seven years. We still feel like two seventeen year olds...sneaking around to see each other, and backing into another car in the process. Whoops, right mom. Hopefully we are a little smarter than back then, a few more life lessons learned, a few more scars, a few more bumps in the road but along with all that there is also a whole lot more laughs, a better understanding of each other, a knowledge of what "true love" is as we have brought children into this world and most of all a partner for life. Someone who loves me more than anything, who puts me first above all, and someone who is always there.

We had an absolutely perfect day yesterday, everything about it. You know those days where everything goes right and nothing goes wrong. You wake up to the sun shining and you just know its going to be a good day. And good day it was.

Woke up bright and early to get our yard work done. My planting is almost complete...pictures to come.

Got the kids packed and sent off to Vovo's for the weekend.

Then we headed off to a matinee...can't tell you the last time this happened. A movie in the middle of a Saturday afternoon, with no kids. Unheard of. We saw "Robin Hood"...it was oh so good.

Had about an hour to kill, so we headed to Gateway. Needed to find Carson a swimsuit before Wednesday and Gymboree was having a 30% off day. Perfect.

Ate dinner at "The Melting Pot". Outrageously expensive, but heck its just once a year. Thiago's favorite is the main course with all that meat.

But me, I am all about the dessert. Good thing we both like food so much and are willing to splurge once in awhile.

Then headed on home....where my Mr. surprised me with a gift. A gift, wait, what...we never do gifts.

Wait for it...

Yeppers, my camera. A Nikon D3000. Basically been wanting one since Jen got her fancy Olympus. He shocked the heck out of me, never would have thought. He was just so sweet about it. He said he just knows what a passion I have for photography and the memories that go along with it. So, for once he was going to get me an electronic toy. It is usually him that splurges on these kinds of things. Soooo excited. Look forward to my posts to come as I experiment with my new toy.

Today is shaping up to be another great day....

So far, we slept in late (no kids), layed in my bed and got caught up on "The Office" and "Parks and Rec" from last week, wandered around the house for awhile cleaning up and doing some laundry (with once again, no kids), went outside and watered my pots and swept my patio, messed around with my camera and now here I sit blogging while the honey plays XBox. I could get used to this kinda lifestyle. However my babies are missing me so I am off to get ready and see my little loves.

Thanks for the great weekend sweetheart, love you more today then ever before. Heres to many, many more great years together!!
