Summer Break...

This little guy is all mine for the summer.


Yay, it feels good. I know he was only gone a couple of days a week for a few hours, however I miss him when he is not around. I am excited for the easy, stress free days of summer. Just lounging around, sleeping in a little later, staying up later, playing outside...sounds nice. Our schedule is a little calmer and much more carefree, it will be nice. Carson had a couple of last minute school activities to end things with a bang.


First off...

Field trip to the fire station.





He loved it. I think I have mentioned his fascination with all things transportation. He was so excited to see those huge firetrucks. All the other kids were plugging their ears when the sirens went off, but not Carson...he wanted to climb right up in that truck. My sister watched Lincoln for me, so I got to enjoy the time with just Carson. It was much fun.



On the last day of school they were supposed to have a water party. However, that is a little hard to do with temps in the low 60's and rain. So instead they all met up at Classic skating. Carson has never been on skates before, he was so excited and he did just great. They also had bouncey toys and fun houses, it was a great place to end the school year.

So we are officially on "summer break". Now if we could just get some sunshine, maybe we could start enjoying it.....
