Blessed!

This little guy all dressed in white, had a big day this weekend.


He received a name and a blessing on Sunday in the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, by his priesthood holding dad.


His little family was super excited for their littlest member.


My four boys in their Sunday best...could I be any prouder?? I am one lucky mama.


Yep, I am most definitely a lucky mama. Look at this face. Oooh, cuteness. (Drake, not me)




My heart pretty much wants to leap out of my chest with moments like this. Count my blessing that they are mine. Funny how these new little ones, so fresh from heaven make you feel so incredibly close to heaven yourself. Its like you can still smell it on them or something, they just carry that little spirit with them. Amazing to think he just left his father in heavens side and is now here on earth with all of us. Makes the veil feel pretty thin.


My boy received a beautiful blessing from his dad. He was promised good health and strength, reminded of the love of his family, especially his parents and older brothers, he was encouraged to follow their example and in turn set the example for others, he was told to stay close to the Holy Ghost and follow its promptings, to prepare for a mission and a temple marriage and fatherhood. Plus much more.

It is always a beautiful sight to me, to see my precious babe all dressed in white encircled by a group of worthy men with their hands placed up on him, giving him a blessing through the power of the priesthood. I am so grateful for the men in my life, who I admire and respect so much. I am grateful for their love and support and the examples they set for my three little boys. Thanks to you all who were there showing your support. Much love.

We headed back to our house after for a little dinner and get together. Once again, thanks to you all who helped bring food. Everything was delicious.




Drakey bug spent the day being passed around and admired. People think he is absolutely beautiful and as his mama, I have to agree. I think the poor little guy only got about a half hour nap that day. However, you never would have known it. He was a little angel, not a peep came out of him. It was like he knew that day was special. Oh, how I love this baby.













And after going through these pictures, it appears I am not the only one who kinda likes him.



Yep, it was a blessed day. We are a blessed family to have this sweet little spirit in our home. I cannot imagine life without you in it my boy, you have etched your way into my heart just as deep as it goes. You wonder how you can love someone so much that you just barely met, however I think I have got it all figured out. I have loved him all along, I knew him long before we entered this world. I knew I was going to be his mama. We are just being reunited. Its no wonder he feels familiar and right, he was mine to begin with. Love you my sweet angel, so grateful to have you here.
