Two Months...

Alright, who told this little critter he could grow this fast. Seriously, you have got to be kidding me....TWO MONTHS OLD...already! For the love Drakey-bug, slow down.


Here is the Mister and his mouse at 2 months old...


And for comparison purposes, here he is last month at one month old.






hehe...don't these just make you smile, cause they make me smile. Especially the one of him almost smiling. It was the end of a smile. He is pretty dang stingy with them, but every now and then we get one.

My Mister at two months old:



His auntie gave him his very first haircut. I am sure this probably shocks some people that I cut his hair this early on. Who cares, I did it anyways. He had a little tail going on in the back. Not cool. Had to come off. So a snip here, a snip there and he was one handsome little dude. Thanks Ash!



He's taken to the bink...sorta. He absolutely will not take it if he is even the tiniest bit hungry. Its like he is telling us, yeah right, don't try and trick me with this thing. However, if he is full and sleepy, he loves to suck it and soothe himself to sleep. He is doing a whole lot better at the whole self-soothing thing.


We made good use of these for a couple of weeks. The nosy sucky thing and a humidifier. Poor baby got his first cold. He was a little stuffed up and had a small cough, nothing to serious. It cleared up fast. Poor baby.



Its gotta be rough being the youngest of three boys. In the first picture, Lincoln is "loving" him up. Lincoln shows love a little rough though, this kid gets some crazy urges and poor Drake is often the recipient. In the second picture, Carson is piling all of his stuffed dogs on top of Drake. I don't know why. All I know is Drake didn't like it, so I demanded Carson move them. Which in turn, Carson didn't like. Weird.

To go along with being the youngest, I think the more siblings you have the more easy going of a baby you have to be. Drake is a pretty chill little guy. He goes with the flow quite well. Its hard cause our schedule is different every day, things are always coming up and he just rolls with the punches. Naps when he can, eats when he can, is pretty content to just sit and see what happens next. I very much appreciate that little Drakey, keep it up.



Aside from being mauled to do death by his brothers, he also receives a whole lot of love. Carson and Lincoln love him like you wouldn't believe. They are already so protective and just so dang cute to him. He's lucky, so lucky.


We've ditched the baby tub, and moved on to the real thing. He loves it, boy does he love it. I usually throw all three of them in there together. Carson holds Drake while I hurry and bath him and then Drake is out of there.




This is where you will find us from 9:00 on. I put the other two to bed, workout, shower and then it is me, my laptop, and my littlest love zonked out on my chest. His only fussy time is evenings. From dinner on, he is quite ornery. As soon as I get him settled in next to me though, he is a happy camper. And ya know what, I kinda like it too...it is always the perfect ending to my crazy days. A little time for just the two of us.
