America's Favorite Pastime...

Baseball...or in the eyes of a 5 year old, T-ball! Cars started T-ball rookies, and so far he is liking it. To his dads great dismay (baseball is his least favorite sport) we think baseball might be more up Cars's alley. It is not such a contact sport, not so much running, not so aggressive and in your face...which goes along much better with my boys personality. He is a non-confrontational kinda kid.

Awww, what a cute little rookie.

At first we weren't sure what T-ball rookies entailed. They just said the kids would be learning the basics and it needed parent participation. Well, its pretty interesting actually. They divide the kids into groups and practice catching, outfielding, batting, pitching and running the bases. Not sure if games are coming, so far they have just been learning the essentials. A parent stays the whole time and practices with their child, kind of like their partner. Thankfully, Thiago re-arranged his schedule so he can always be there. I go along for support, but the thought of me out there trying to throw the ball so it is catchable and making sure Lincoln doesn't hitchhike a ride out of there is rather humorous.

He's only gone 4 times now, but so far he really likes it. I think it helps that his dad is out there.

Whats baseball without some fans...of course these two are Carson's biggest fans.

(take note of Lincolns ball hat, my kids have been super obsessed with ball hats recently and have wanted to wear them non-stop. The funny thing is the way they wear them. Carson's is always forward facing and Lincoln's is always backwards. If you know my kids, you know how fitting this is for each of their personalities. Makes me laugh)

Watch out Derek Jeter, cause here comes Carson Cano!

What a cute post.

I think my favorite is the the way Lincoln wears his hat backward, most fitting. And yeah him hitchhiking a ride out of there, a most definite possibility.

Tball has been fun, I like it so much more than soccer, maybe it's cause it's much more enjoyable sitting outside when it's warm compared to rain and snow in April. Though what am I saying ours got cancelled twenty minutes early yesterday. It was freezind and raining, you too?
