{6 Months}....half a year old!

Oh for the love...my baby is half a year old. How the heck did that happen. I don't know how we got here, but its true. 6 months!

The Mr. and his mouse....

1 month..

2 months..

3 months..

4 months..

5 months..

and 6 months. Look at him grow!

Well, this month he was a lot more interested in sucking on Mickey's nose then smiling for my pictures. He kinda just stared at me with this funny expression. I am sure he was thinking you can squeal and talk to me in a high pitched voice all you want, I am still not going to smile. So once again, no smiles. Good thing he's cute either way.

My boy at 6 months...

I don't know how I got so lucky, truly I don't. He still remains the happiest most content little baby on the face of the planet. I think I must be being rewarded for having to put up with Lincoln. Heavenly Father knew I needed a break, so he gave me Drake.

Mastered the art of rolling over. He just goes crazy trying to reach everything in sight. Especially brightly colored objects (such as this basketball).

Pure happiness when he reaches his prize.

I'd say he is quite pleased with himself.

Well, I gotta say this one here is a first. He LIKES food!!! I have never had a baby that is actually a good eater. Lincoln and Carson HATED baby food. Carson wouldn't open up at all, and Lincoln just spit it all back out at me. Not this guy. I started out small cause I thought he would be like the other two. Boy, was I wrong. He eats faster than anyone I know and then fusses when his food is gone. He is already on the size 2 baby food and usually eats 2 containers per meal. My little piggy.

And he's got the rolls to prove it. Look at this boy...filling out quite nicely. (He loves to play with those little plastic hangers, silly boy. He just sits there while I iron our clothes in the morning, playing with all the hangers.)

Now doesn't he just make you smile!

He is quite attached to his family. Which means me, Thiago or Carson. It's sweet. Two stories to proves my point.

My mother in law has been in Brazil this last week so my sister in law watched the boys while I was at work on Friday. She called Thiago all hysterical saying the baby had been crying for 2 hours straight and she didn't know what to do. Thiago was worried that he maybe didn't feel good but I said no, he is just overtired and doesn't know Rosemary as well and just can't get to sleep. Thiago ran over on his lunch to see if he could help. The minute he got there, he took the baby.
He was then asleep 5 minutes later. All he needed was his dad.

Now this is even sweeter. The other day we were just at home doing some cleaning. I was almost done with the bathrooms and just wanted to finish before I stopped to feed Drake. He was getting quite ornery. He was squaking and crying. I told Carson to go talk to him in his swing to see if he could settle him down. I ran back in to finish the bathroom. 5 minutes later I realized how quiet things got and go out to investigate. There Carson sits holding Drake. He had got him out of his swing, carried him over to the couch and rocked him to sleep. Holy smokes, doesn't that just make you want to cry. Oh my boys...always stay close, may you always find comfort in one another and lean on each other in times of need. Sweet brothers.

Every night we gather the kids (the babies in the stroller and Cars on his bike) and head out for our 4 mile exercise. And every night this is how this little one ends up. Sound asleep. Knocks him out every single time.

Great little sleeper. Continues to sleep through the night. Its heaven. I use to think people were so full of crap when they claimed their baby's slept through the night. I thought to myself, what kind of baby doesn't wake up. I guess its possible though cause this kid is great. Nothing I did, he just did it on his own. Very nice. Very nice.

Guess thats about it for this month. I am sure next month will roll around before I know it.

Oh little love...how precious you are. Happy half birthday baby. Its been a beautiful 6 months!

He is seriously cute! I love his little rolls, that's pretty impressive that he loves baby food. Cambree hasn't been a fan either. I'm glad you have such an easy baby, I'm sure you have your hands full! I cannot believe he's already 6 months old. I loved both stories with Thiago and Carson, he does love his family! Too cute!

Love this post. I loved the story of Carson. You hadn't told me that one yet, guess that's what I get for leaving for a week!

That kid gets more beautiful every day, I honestly don't think I have ever seen a more good looking baby. You got lucky my sister, he is a perfect little baby. But yes well deserved after Lincoln. Not that he isn't loveable in his own crazy way!
