Pumpkins, Cousins, Bingo and more

Our little cousin holiday get-togethers are getting harder and harder. With 4 of the kids on very different school schedules and Jen living over an hour away, we had a hard time figuring out a day for our little party. We had it earlier in the month and started at a later time of day than usual, but it was still a great success.

My 3 lil' pumpkins right before the party started. How much fun are kids and holidays. Carson has been into all of our little holiday traditions and activities for awhile but this is the first year that Lincoln has started to understand. I love it, makes it all just that much more exciting.

So here it is...our Halloween cousin extravaganza (hardly an extravaganza...but it sounded good, right)

Hello there Drakey bug and a few pumpkins. Boy, did he have a good time with these pumpkins. The orange one, the blue one and baby Drake were friends from the beginning. Instant attraction. Never left each others side, well until his brothers stole them away and then Drakey decided he would rather a nap anyways.

It was fun while it lasted...

Here comes Cars, he cutely leans in for a picture and then ever so gently coerces his pumpkin away...then comes Lincoln, there was nothing gentle about that. Jerked that thing so fast out of Drake's hands, his little head was spinning.

Now there's trouble...Lincoln-boy and a baby K with three big bowls of candy. That is a no good situation.

Moving on...

Some crafting

My biggest boy loved this, couldn't get enough of these happy little pumpkins. Lincoln enjoyed it too, he changed his mind from green to blue, hat to no hat, 5 eyes instead of 1. Spent about 10 minutes on it. Turned out decent, next thing I know he has ripped the whole thing apart and says he doesn't want it. Whatever kid, whatever.

Candy corn Bingo....

And I am going to have to go ahead and take credit for this awesome game. Yep, I made it...and they loved it. Don't worry that it seriously took me like 2 hours the night before, it was a little more time consuming then I had thought. However, I think they turned out so cute. I drew all those little pictures myself. I know, I know...how artistic am I.

I wondered if the littler ones would understand, but they did not disappoint. Lance, Cars, Luke and Brev picked up automatically, but even Lincoln and Elle understood. Granted Lincoln kept eating his candy corns off his card so who knows what he actually had going on. Thats okay, to each their own. I even had cute little prizes at the end...I am the best!

Trick or treating..

And their favorite part...we did a little practice trick or treating. Jen, Ash and I all go in separate rooms and the kids come by to collect. They love it...I love it too, cause I help eat their candy.

And thats it from us...fun little party.

Happy Weekend all!

Heck you are fast, I can't even believe it and you are working today too! I would like to say you will see mine today but I am thinking it's not gonna happen!

I think you did a great job on the Bingo game really one of your finest works. The only one that stumped me was the candycorn and if I had really thought about it I would have gotten it. I mean sure that triangle was a candy corn, of course!

I have to say that the first picture is really something...I mean really something. I love it to pieces...please tell me you will get that in a frame right away. I have never noticed before, but they all look so different from one another...totally different but totally all darling that's for sure. Glad the cousin party was a hit!
