So we did just that this weekend...we kept busy.
The elementary school had their little Halloween carnival on Friday night. My sweet sister really helped me out this day. Friday is the one full day that I work, so my mother in law usually watches the babies and my sister watches Carson. She takes him to and from school, then to his soccer practice, then back home. Well, this particular day she did all that and then had to run him back home, get him changed into his costume and then back to the school for the little parade and carnival. So basically her whole day was devoted to my child. And she did it all with a smile on her face. Kept saying she didn't mind at all and it was no big deal. I have a sweet sister, don't I?? I love you Ash, truly, what would I do without you.
She even went the extra mile and snapped these pictures for me before the carnival. This one pretty much melts my heart. Love how much they love each other.
Thiago and I and the babes met up with them shortly after the carnival started. It was a fun night. Ya know, considering..... how much fun can school carnivals be.
Saturday night, we headed here...
to celebrate this girl's big number 18. Love this cute sister in law of mine. Her and I have always had a special little bond, I guess that might have something to do with me knowing her since she was 3 years old (now doesn't that make me feel old). Anywho, I love this girl to absolute death. I honestly consider her one of my dearest friends/sister. We can talk and laugh about anything, and trust me we do. Love you Rose...happy birthday.
Siblings...yeah, they look alike. Especially Thiago and Rosemary.
My mother in law planned a huge party. There was like 50 of us there and it was alot of fun. Good to see all of our Brazilian friends.
Yum, Brazilian lemonade. Ever had it? Divine...absolutely my favorite drink. It is frothy and creamy and tangy...and heavenly.
Aw Lincoln...drinking WAY to much of my special drink. Doesn't he know this thing was 5 bucks, and I really can't share with him. All the nerve.
To. Freaking. Cute. Am I right? Love this boy.
And last but not least...Sunday brings my daddio's birthday. Sunday dinner at my Grandma's.
Papa Jeff and my boys.
And me and my dad. Happy birthday you old man. Getting up there, aren't ya. Love ya, hope you had a great day.
And that was us. One busy weekend down, and lots more to go. Bring it.

That drink looks amazing. And carson is so cute, what a sweet sister you have.
Cute birthday post for Rosemary and Jeff. Eighteen years old...no way.
I sure would like to give that fancy drink a try.
Teri I've missed your blog friend! I promise I stop by, but it's been entirely toooooooooo long since I've left a comment. I promise it's not intentional :) That drink reminds me of the virgin Pina Colada I had on the cruise, ahhh the good ole days - it was so yummy, I can definitely relate to being possessive over it :) I also LOVE the picture of Drake and his aunt - so sweet!
