Carson had his first official trip to the dentist today. Uh-oh, scary times!! He did so great though, I wondered if he would be okay cause it is kinda a challenge even getting him to brush his teeth. He has been much better at this since I got him a singing toothbrush that sings Hakuna Matata every time you start to brush, but still. However, there was no fear in him today...the only thing he demanded was that I go first. I sat up in the chair and they did the X-rays on me while he watched. Then Carson sat up on my lap while the hygeinist checked his teeth. He just opened wide and kinda kept laughing . Then the dentist came in and showed Carson the prize he was going to get when the dentist was all done. Worked like a charm he sat perfectly still and waited while the dentist counted his little teeth and checked each one.
When Carson was done, I got my cleaning. It was so cute cause every time the girl would clean my teeth, Carson would smile and pat my leg and tell me I was doing a good job. When I was all done, he asked the lady where his mommy's toy was. It was so funny!! We had a great check-up, both of us. And not one cavity to report. Yeah!!

Oh my, he seems way to small to be going to the dentist. Tell him I am so proud of him, that really was a big deal for him to be so good. Love the picture, he does look so proud.
That is so cute! Sounds like he did a great job for his first time. What a good little guy always taking care of his mom.
I am glad you did this post...I am taking Mitchell to the Dentist on Monday for the first time,he saw this post, and now he thinks it will be great!

What a big boy! Going to the dentist can be to traumatic for some kids, I'm glad he did so well!
He looks so cute and proud of himself. Can I just say I am so jealous of you right now, you have everything done that I am dreading doing. Dentist for yourself, dentist for the kids, does the fun ever end.

I cannot believe he is smiling at the dentist! That's really cute he was telling you that you were doing good, what a nice boy! Your so very lucky he enjoyed the dentist, it could have been very unpleasant!
Good job Carson no cavities. I'm so proud keep it up. Isn't it weird how big he is getting. He was so brave.
