Lincoln's Blessing Day..

Before the actual blessing day, I took Lincoln to get his picture taken in his little blessing outfit. We borrowed Brev's outfit and I just love it. It is kinda funny though cause Brev wore the outfit at 3 months and Lincoln is not even 2 months yet and it is already getting kinda snug. My cute little chunk, getting to big, to fast.


Here he is on his big day. We ended up blessing him on the 11th instead of the 4th which was fast Sunday. Gus and Shalae were out of town that week and we wanted them to be there, so we asked the bishopric if we could do the week after. I was a little sad at first, cause I always like the chance to bear my testimony after my kids are blessed. I just decided to do it the week before though, I just feel so grateful to have my baby and I wanted the chance to express that. Anyways, I was so bugged as I was taking this picture. I purposely waited until right before we were ready to leave to put Lincoln in his outfit, cause I didn't want him to spit up. I get him dressed, leave his bib on, take it off real quick to snap his picture and what does he do. Spits up!! Aaahhh, makes me crazy. Luckily it wasn't alot and I caught most of it in his burp rag. Little turkey!


I had a heck of a time getting this picture. Carson is not exactly a morning person, and he was being such a grouch. This kid sleeps in everyday until at least 9:00, sometimes later. Waking him up for 9:00 church is never a fun experience. Finally after about 10 attempts, I got this kind of cute picture.


The actual blessing was so beautiful, Thiago did such a great job. I was so proud of him. I am so fortunate to have him as my husband and the father of my children. He is so incredible and loves his kids so much. Not alot can get my big, tough guy to cry except when it comes to his kids. He was so cute cause during the blessing his voice kept cracking and he was getting all choked up. He was embarrassed by it, but it just makes me love him all the more. And my sweet Lincoln, was so dang cute. When Thiago held him up for everyone to see, he had the sweetest, little expression on his face. It was just a perfect moment for me.


After the blessing we did the usual, which is head home and have a luncheon. My sweet mother-in-law, let me have the dinner at her house cause mine is just a little to small for all those people. We would have never fit. We had so many family and friends come and support us, and that just means so much to me. I am so grateful to everyone that came and so happy that you are all a part of our lives. Thank-you to everyone, we love you all so much! Here is my baby boy with one of his first smiles, he is starting to smile quite often now...but so far I haven't caught a whole lot on camera.



I wish I had got more pictures of everyone there...I was kinda running around talking to everyone and then I had to feed Lincoln. By the time I got around to taking pictures, people were starting to leave. Here is me and Lincon with my Grandma and Grandpa Williams.

Lincoln all tuckered out after his big day, seriously all the little guy did the rest of the day was sleep. Must have really worn him out. Thanks again to all those that came and shared the day with us. We are so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends and we truly love you. It was a great day!
