Happy New Year everyone!! Wow, 2009....where in the heck did 2008 go. I can't believe it is January, time is moving way to quickly these days. We had a pretty quiet New Years, not to exciting. We usually get together with all the Brazilians, but I was a little partied out and didn't think that was a great idea for Lincoln. So we just went over to Thiago's parents house with them and his little sister. Ash and Souli decided to come over with us at the last minute. It was a very calm and relaxing night. I don't know about you guys but after all of the craziness of December, I am so ready for things to slow down.
Lincoln was as sweet as can be all night long. About a half hour of fussiness, and then he was an angel. He was sound asleep by 10:00, and slept straight through until 5:00 the next morning. I could not believe it, I kept making Thiago get out of bed and make sure he was breathing. Although, don't you worry, that was just a one night thing. The next night he was back to his normal little self, which means waking me up at least 3 times. Fun!
I think this picture is so funny...me and Ash both look kinda dead in it. We were both so tired and really just wanted to go home and go to bed. But we toughed it out, and stayed until midnight.

I didn't get hardly any pictures of New Years Day...cute one of my kiddos.
We got up early and went up to Tremonton to have breakfast with my dads family. Later that day we got brave and took all the kids to Tale of Despero. They were all so good in it. Even Lincoln, he just slept right through and never got out of his carseat. Later that night I left the kids home with Thiago and went with my mom and sisters to Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Sooo good, at least I thought so . I totally recommend it to everyone. It was a good day, and a great start for the New Year. I am kinda sad to see 2008 come to an end, it was a good year for our family and one I will look back on with some great memories. I am excited to see what the New Year will bring....hopefully more good!

Im with you were did time go? It goes by faster and faster!! You guys are all so beautiful and I love the pic of Thiago! We were burned out by Christmas too and I wanted to go to bed (man we are gettting old!!!!)
I agree, this year really flew by! We had an uneventful New Years, I think I was in bed by 10:30 The older we get the less exciting the holidays seem to be.
Your hair looks cute, did you get it highlighted?
New Years is such a funny holiday, it's kind lame actually, I guess we are just not big parties, especially the older we get. That night actually looks quite nice, the quiter the better in my opinion anyway. Love that first picture of Cars, that's quite the crown he's wearing.
I am impressed Carson stayed up! Way to go little guy! Looks like a party! Such a silly holiday to stay up way too late just to say happy new year, but oh well at least it is only once a year!
