Oh boy...I just love Tuesdays!! They are my craziest day of the week, and recently they just got a whole lot crazier. Ashley works just one day a week (Tuesday) and I have always watched Brevin for her. Well, we knew when we had the babies that I would continue to do so, except for instead of 2 little boys, it would be two little boys and two newborns. Kinda nuts...although it seriously isn't to bad. This last Tuesday, they were all little angels. Thanks to Jill who helped me out for a few hours while I had a doctor appointment. (Last appointment for awhile at Circle of Life, it felt weird knowing I wouldn't be back for awhile. Kinda bittersweet.) Anyways, even though it can get kinda hectic, I just love that I get the chance to watch her kids. I have watched Brevin since he was a baby, and I love the relationship that I have with him as well as the relationship between him and Carson. He really is like my own little boy sometimes, and I am excited to feel that way for little Elle too.
Carson and Brev kinda just take care of each other. I love when Brevin is here cause he keeps Carson occupied. Instead of Carson following me around, he has someway to play with. These two boys are just like brothers. They love each other most of the time, but fight pretty dang good too.
As far as the babies go, there really wasn't a whole lot of this going on. They were so good for the most part. Things got kinda crazy when they both decided they were hungry at the same time. I was in the middle of feeding Lincoln and Elle started fussin it up. Had to put Lincoln down to fix Elle's bottle, and Lincoln does not appreciate being stopped in the middle of a feeding. Hence the picture.
They spent most of the day side by side in their little bouncers. I do not know what I would do without his bouncer. It is seriously his best friend. It is such a lifesaver for me...anyone having a baby, make sure you have a bouncer!
This picture just makes me laugh. This is actually the next day. I was in cleaning my bathroom and I could hear Lincoln crying out in my room. I knew he was getting hungry, but I really just wanted to get the bathroom finished. So I was putting him off for a few minutes. I then realized I hadn't heard him for a little while, so I went out to check on him. This is what I found. His little hood had fallen over his eyes and he was sound asleep. Me and Carson thought it was so funny, he slept that way for over an hour too. Guess he wasn't as hungry as I thought.

Oh gosh I love that picture of Lincoln with his hood over his eyes, he looks so funny! I am really amazed that you do that every Tuesday, what would Ash do without you, though it makes me sad that I am not closer to help out more, though I guess closer than I used to be, but still. Saturday will be crazy for me, but I figure I will let the boys run and make huge messes of my house while I sit and hold Elle all day, sounds kinda nice!
Love all the picture but especially the top one. Looks like Carson is really taking care of the babies. It makes me tired just thinking about your day.
They really are crazy, but you will never know how grateful I am to you. Its so nice to be able to take my kids to someone you loves them like they were her own. You have been Brevin's second mother and I know you will be to Elle too. They are lucky to have you as there aunt.
Wow...that is so wonderful of you to do that for your sister! What a cute group of kids, and how much fun, too.
That always happened to Barrick when he was a baby, their little hoods falling all over them. I LOVE the pictures looks like you had a fun day with all of the little ones.
I'm just amazed at you Teri, holy cow watching two little toddlers and two newborns all at the same time would be extremely hard! It is nice though to have that connection with them, your like their second mom, and I'm sure you kids are great friends.
What a busy day, good for you to be able to handle it all. I know what you mean when you talk about Carson and Brevin, Mitchell and Kaylee are the same way...crazy cousins huh! Anyways cute pictures, and I love the one of Lincoln, covering his eyes sleeping, what a sweet boy!
Your such a good sister Teri. How fun for all those cute cousins to spend time with eachother. I love the picture of cute Lincoln with his hood over his eyes, what a cutie!
