Oh, how they grow!

Last but not least, an adorable little 1 year old!

Do I have a freakin gorgeous kid or what. Seriously how handsome is he, one of the two most handsomest boys I know. Ha-ha, every mom thinks that I am sure. In all seriousness though, look at him through the years. Makes me get a little teary eyed thinking of that sweet little 1 year old. It is amazing to me to watch him grow and change. Every new thing he learns or does makes me so proud. Do you ever just look at your kids and think Wow, I made that. I do, all the time.

20 fun little facts about my four year old.

1. Still continues to be the most affectionate boy EVER. Is full of loves, hugs, and my favorite... kisses. Randomly throughout the day he will come up and say "mom, is it fine if I give you a kiss". Oh, seriously melt my heart!

2. Just like his dad he is just not into sweets. I can never use icecream, candy, cake, popsicle's etc as a bribe. Just doesn't go for it. Doughnuts, however are his one weakness.

3. Knows all his colors by now, counts 1-10 but sometimes gets held up on 6 and 7. Can point out the C in the alphabet (for Carson). Loves to use little scissors, tape, glue etc. Knows all his animals.

4. Big fan of animals, there isn't a whole lot this kid is afraid of.

5. Very, very, very clean. Does not enjoy being dirty, sticky, slimy...none of the above. And me, well I love that he is like this.

6 As of late, he is kinda turning into a couch potato. Loves to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, "Georgie", Word Girl and Cyberchase. Time to start limiting his TV intake. Never use to be a problem, but I see it starting.

7. Thinks bandaids are the cure-all for everything. Is often seen sporting multiple bandaids, trying to get him to take them off is a freaking joke.

8. LOVES his cousins. Just gets so excited when I say they are going to be a part of our day. Pretty much I can use it as my bribe that morning to get him going.

9. NOT a morning person, most certainly not a morning person. We all know this kid sleeps until about 10 every day that I let him. Don't cross him from 8-10, especially while watching his cartoons.

10. Current frequently used expressions "how many time me tell you, Guessss what, yeps, nopes, me gonna throw you out the window, oh my, daddy you yay (lay) with me, me so love you". Tons more, those are just some of our favorites.

11. Incredibly likeable....he is just a very personable little boy and makes friends wherever he goes. Just like his dad.

12. Somehow is always interested in things that make me crazy....vaccuums, hoses, umbrellas, flagpoles, any and all kitchen appliances. Why oh why, do we even bother with toys sometimes.

13. Loves, loves, loves helicopters and airplanes. Defintely, his current obsession. You would think we were watching a parade everytime an airplane flies by. Living close to Hill we see quite a few each day. Its a party every time.

14. Still likes us to lay by him to get him to sleep, however once he is out, he's out. We could have a herd of elephants in the room and he wouldn't notice.

15. Awfully small...not even 30 pounds yet. He is in the 1 percentile for weight and 4th pecentile for his height. Doctor says no worries though, he is right on with his growth curve and doing just great.

16. Very picky eater (no wonder he is so small). Favorites include mac n cheese, any type of noodles, toast with cinnamon sugar, nutrigrain bars, marshmallows, grapes, chips (Doritos), and pickles.

17. Juice, juice, and more juice. Makes it hard cause I know I shouldn't give him a whole lot. Likes milk at dinner and right before bed, but the rest of the time he always wants juice.

18. Favorite toys are his Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, tool box, airplanes, spiderman bike, all of his cars and trucks and all his outside toys.

19.An AWESOME big brother. Just like I knew he would be, looks out for Lincoln like no other. The first thing he does each morning is lean over and give him a kiss. It is the sweetest.

20. The most adorable, happy, rambuctious, sweetest, smartest and most lovable boy I have ever known. Every day is an adventure with him in our home, and I am so glad I am along for the ride.
