Labor Day/Happy B-day Husband

We had a great labor day. Thiago's birthday is actually today the 8th, but since he had yesterday off we decided to just celebrate that day. We were one of the hundreds of people who chose to go to the zoo. Seriously, there were soooo many people. Too many people if you ask me, we could hardly make our way through. Should have known though, considering it was Labor Day. We stayed just for a few hours, long enough to walk through once and then we were outa there. The kids all loved it though, and that is what counts.

I think every kid that goes to the zoo has got a picture like this on the elephant. It was quite the happening spot to be. Unfortunately we missed seeing the brand new baby elephant. I guess she isn't revealed until this Friday, you could however enter a name to be selected for the little one in a drawing. Kinda cool.(For all of you thinking about how weird Carson's shoes are, I had no idea this was the pair he was wearing until we got there. I told him to put on his blue shoes and get in the car. When we got there this is what I saw. His $5.00 Walmart flipflops that are for outside. Nice.)

Well this little monkey loved the zoo, check out that face. Probably just feels right at home among all the other crazy animals. Ha-ha!

Oops, their is another cheesy little face...my kids got a big kick out of this place.

$5.00, $5.00 for that stupid cup Lincoln is holding that Carson just HAD to have. It was full of like 1/2 a cup of juice, and yet cost $5.00. Honestly.

Theo loves his Elles belles.

Whats the zoo without your cousins to join in on the fun.

We went home and rested up then met up with family for Thiago's birthday dinner. Where else but Tepanyaki. He picks it every single year.

My family!

Thiago, his dad and my boys.

Cano's!

Me and my boy!

So funny cause all of my nephews and little Elle are freaked out by this place. Jen's kids wouldn't even come cause they are so scared. Brev hid under the table the entire time and Elle clung to Ashley. Not my kids, these were there faces the entire time. Carson couldn't quit smiling and Lincoln was in a trance the whole night. Funny.

They even loved the food.

Back to our house for cake and icecream. Thanks family for coming and sharing in our day. It makes it complete when you are all there, and I know Thiago appreciated it. Happy 27th birthday love, hope you had a great day!

I loved this day it was just so much fun. Oh Tepanyaki I could eat there again right now, I know you won't appreciate this because you hate leftovers but I had mine for lunch yesterday and now I just can't get it out of my head. Good thing I am going to lunch with mom today and not my usual PBJ...
