Quick update on life this week....Friday night we went out with our very good friends the Kusuda's and our friend Adam and his cute girl Stephanie. Thiago, Jeff, and Adam have been friends for as long as I can think back. Its actually kinda funny cause usually you hang out with the wife's friends more but in mine and Theo's case we keep up with his friends much better than mine. We always have so much fun, of course we missed John and Monica but maybe next time. Thanks Candace for planning it all, sorry Mr. Lincoln got fussy and I didn't get the chance to talk much at the end. Anyways, we love Jeff and Candace and of course Adam. You guys are the best and we truly treasure your friendship. Wish I had taken my camera to dinner but spaced it. Next time, for sure.
Now onto the house stuff...the closing date is getting closer and closer. We originally set it up for October 13th, but our buyers are in a rush and their agent is aiming for Sept 30. We shall see, my lender doesn't know if we can do it quite that quick, may go into the first week in October but after tomorrow I should know more. The appraisal on our new house and the appraisal on this house (for our buyers) both take place tomorrow, and then we will have a better idea of a closing date. Reality is setting in, and Thursday after I got done cleaning my house I kinda just walked around from room to room and felt a little nostalgic, may have even cried...just a tiny bit. I just love this home so much and it is sad to see this little chapter in our lives coming to a close.
Thiago and I walked through our new house yesterday, just to measure a few things and double check some odds and ends. Snapped a little picture of the outside, so here is a sneak peak.
After we got done, we just couldn't quit talking about it...we are VERY excited. Not a whole lot bigger than our house right now, just a couple hundred square feet. However the basement is practically finished in this house, so it gives us a lot more living space. It is also newer, full of upgrades, and bigger rooms upstairs. Also it is out of the Clearfield area. I am not a big fan of Clearfield schools and always knew we needed to move before Cars starts Kindergarten. So there you have it. More pictures to come, as we get in and settled. For now, looks like I have some packing to do.

I think that is cool you still keep in touch with your old HS buddies. I am so excited for your new house, it's a lot of work to move but well worth it. Kinda funny that your sister just moved too - do twins do everything together? JK
