We had an absolutely wonderful Christmas this year. It is hard to believe it is all over with. I always get really sad driving home from the last Christmas party on Christmas night. I just hate seeing it all come to an end. This is a huge post, and I am now exhausted from how long it took to download all these pictures but I hate to leave stuff out for my own sake...so hopefully you don't get to bored.
I make Thiago crazy, cause I always make us pose for pictures before we head out the door. I just like to get the boys before they get all messed up or dirty...you know how little boys are. Unfortunately, if you know me then you know I am always late so Thiago really gets bugged when I start requesting pictures.
Love this picture...please excuse my eyesore of a window. We are getting blinds for downstairs with our tax return. So not to much longer, please don't judge us by how tacky this looks.
We knew we would be getting home late so we helped Carson leave out the milk and cookies for Santa before we left. We also left out carrots on the porch for the reindeer.
No Betty Crocker in this house, Oreo's will have to do.
On to our Christmas Eve party at Grandma Grovers. 2 sets of great grandparents, 5 grandparents, 20 or so grandkids and their spouses and about 30 something great grandkids...makes for a big celebration. We love it though, the more the merrier. Carson enjoyed every minute of the festivites as you can see from his smiling little face.
My poor baby, he is just peopled and partied out. He just didn't know what to think this weekend. So many people, presents, commotion, running here and there. Normally he is on a pretty good schedule so I think all the craziness just didn't sit well with him.
Yeah, he just wasn't a very happy camper that night. His bed is the only thing he was thinking about. Poor baby.
One shot in their matching Christmas jammies.
Next morning...Santa came. He sure did.
Carson just dived right in, opening anything and everything in sight. I am not sure he even retained what it was he was opening. He just went from one present to the next, barely looking up from the wrapping paper. We had a nice little chat that morning on being grateful for what he just received.
Oh Lincoln, he was content to just sit and suck on the top of his plastic candy cane and pound his little hammer toy. Doesn't take much to please a one year old.
Carson with his stash...they certainly made a haul.
And Mr. Lincoln's.
Yep, more posing.
Then onto the Cano's for more presents and breakfast. Maria had to work in the morning so we didn't get to see her as long as we would have liked. Next year, hopefully her schedule will change.
My mom's house next for Christmas dinner. It was great seeing my 2 uncles and aunts and cousins from Arizona. Not often we get together so it was very nice.
Merry Christmas sweetie!!
Granny O made Carson this cute little nativity set. Which I do believe is his favorite gift. He is so into little people and imaginery conversations lately. He can sit and talk to his toys for hours. So this is right up his alley.
Now this is MY favorite gift that was given this day. My mom made Lincoln this little fleece blanket. I have got a thing for blankets. You know how most girls like shoes or purses or earings...my passion is blankets. Weird, I know. I am obsessed. My kids each have about a million. I wash them all the time, cause I love that fresh and soft smell they get. So when I saw this....I just loved it. Lincoln Bujaou has been snuggling up to this the past 2 nights now, however now it is in the wash getting fresh and clean for tomorrow. Thanks mom.
Carson's gift from my mom...this cool little scooter. You just sit on it and push your feet down and turn the wheel and it goes. It is awesome, no work required. Carson loved it.
Ended the night at my dads for more food and presents. He just got this adorable little puppy and Carson was loving it up all night. Snuggle it up there boy, cause this Cano family will never own a dog. Not in this lifetime.
Had to include these final two pictures. Once we got home and hauled all the gifts out of the car and added them to the kids piles. WOW! This is an embarrassing amount of gifts but oh well. My mom used to take pictures of our piles when we were little and I love to look back on them now, so this is for my future Carson and Lincoln to look back on and see what they got this year. Every year my kids get so much from extended family, grandparents and all that. I always tell Thiago we should tone it down and not go so big. I just can't help it though. My parents were just crazy about Christmas and spoiled us rotten. We never got toys throughout the rest of the year, but they just went crazy at Christmas. I guess that is how I am, I just kinda go nuts. Anyways, hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. Enjoy this next week, with all the New Year festivities. We like to play, play, play until the first of the year and then after New Years is over it is back to real life. So live it up friends, not to many days left of 2009.

Glad you had a great Christmas! I'd say the boys did just fine!
Ya, so I wanted to tell you our news at your Christmas party....but it was still too early. With Kade I was never really sick or had a single migraine, now I get them 2-3 times a week and am super sick!
I still worry everyday about miscarrying, so hopefully I can make it to 12 weeks and put my mind at ease! We'll see!
Look at you! Those kids are set for the year for sure! But seriously what fun! Looks like a great Christmas, and you look as beautiful as ever! Cute Cute Pictures!
Looks like you guys had lots of fun this year for Christmas:)So I wanted to tell you I finally met the people who moved into you'r house here(the Thangs). She is the new Secretary in the Young Womens. I forgot to update you on the Young women Presidency. Kali and I was relised earlier this month and they called a whole new presidency. President: Vanessa Losik, 1st: Ashley Jensen, 2nd: Terry Hansen, and Secretary: Sister Thane. We miss the girls, but it looks like they are enjoying this new Presidency.
