Here is our year in review:
January
Rang in the New Year with family. Spent New Years Eve with the Cano's, and our annual New Years day breakfast with my Williams family.
38 weeks along...said goodbye to this pregnant look
cause on January 24th we welcomed Drake Thiago Cano into the world.
Our family of four was now a newly blessed family of five.
Brought our baby home and I tried my hand as mother of THREE!
4 days later and I celebrated my 28th birthday
Not much of a birthday, we found out I had pneumonia the next day.
February
We settle ourselves into a little routine, always interesting with a newborn
A quiet Valentines at home with my favorite little lovebugs...
Drake heads to Primary Childrens to have his kidneys looked at, last ultrasound showed some reflux. No worries, all is well.
Carson also gets a clean bill of health. Had his yearly echo done with his cardiologist. For those who are new readers or don't know Carson has a bicuspid aortic valve that we watch closely.
Thiago headed to St. George for a soccer tournament and while he is gone Lincoln falls off a barstool and gets his first black eye.
February comes to a close covered in white...some last minute snow storms.
March
Maternity leave is up and I had back to work. Just 15 hours a week, I can handle that.
We are quickly adapting to life with our newest little bug, can't imagine our lives without him.
Baby Drake receives a priesthood name and blessing from his dad.
April
April brings sping break, and we spend a day at the bowling alley.
We dye easter eggs,
we gather easter eggs,
We dress up in our Easter Sunday best.
May
Brings my favorite day of the year...Mothers Day. Love the littles that make me a mama.
And that day ends with Lincoln getting his second black eye...only Lincoln.
May 17th marks me and my babes 8th wedding anniversary, we celebrate at the Melting Pot.
And we have a preschool graduate!!
Memorial Day closes out May.
June
Cars learns to ride a bike without training wheels.
He also starts up T-ball.
We celebrate fathers day with the worlds best dad.
My oldest turns six. A little piece of my heart breaks with each birthday.
Our little strawberry patches produces some lovely berries.
July
Independence Day
July brings family reunions..
swimming..
and fireworks.
Drake is officially a half a year old.
Finish off the month with a trip to Lagoon.
August
Start off the month with our annual Williams' family trip to Island Park.
spend lots of time lounging around outside...
family BBQ's...
and a sleepover with one of our favorite little cousins.
And our favorite of the year...our trip to San Diego!
Get home right in time to send my Kindergartner off to school.
September
Labor Day Smores
and our daddio turns 29!
Cars starts up fall soccer...
as well as his dad.
I busy myself helping out in Carson's classroom
and our Lincoln boy and the dreaded iron. Results in some nasty burns.
The leisurely days of summer our beginning to fade.
October
Start out with a little weekend shopping trip with the girls.
Carson gets his new retainers.
Harvest season arrives and with it brings...
autumn carnivals,
pumpkin patches,
Halloween parties and
Ironhide, Buzz Lightyear and a dalmation pup.
November
brings a change in the weather.
We spend a little more time cozying up indoors,
anticipating the holiday season.
Lincoln boy celebrates the big THREE!
We spend Thanksgiving with family, feeling grateful for all of our blessings.
Start of the shopping season for the honey and I and we end the day on "The Roof".

Such a great post! I loved reading about all that happened this past year. Here's to a great 2012!
I think these are my favorite posts, I love a good year in review. I have to say I think Lincoln boy had the most eventful year of all. I of course knew of his crazy year but man when you clump it all together like that, you see what a terror that little guy really is!
Such a fun year, I loved all the pictures and all the memories. I will see you later on today, one more day of play before we have to get serious tomorrow!
Such fun to read the highlights of your year Teri!!
I forgot about Linc's black eyes. And I'm surprised Claire hasn't had any yet too. Ha.
Your family is just so sweet. I love the way you write about being a mother. It always sounds as though you are so good at really being present and in the moment with the kids. That is something I need to work on at times.
Hope twenty twelve brings you many more good memories! I've so enjoyed getting to know you through the blogs.
Love it all. I still think you and Jenny are the cutest prego girls. I can't believe how much Drake has already changed. He is growing up and will be one this month.....insane!!! Happy New Year friend!
