One of my favorite things when I come home from a little shopping spree, is to put everything into piles according to the person. My pile, Carson's pile, Lincoln's and Drake's (poor Theo, he usually doesn't get much). I love to look at the pile as a whole. Tells so much about the person. What age they are at, what they are into at the moment, their fashion (well this only applies to my pile). Imagine how giddy I was at Christmas looking at my boys' huge pile of "stuff". I kinda loved it.
The other day I was looking at pictures of Carson when he was a baby. I blew the pictures up on the computer and was noticing the toys he had setting out, and the decorations on the wall, and the books on the floor. I know it was only 6 years ago, but part of my brain has already forgot the things he liked at that age. I saw his old toys and it just made me smile. The "little people" bus with all the little guys. My goodness, he loved that thing. Anyways, made me realize that I would like to look back some day and see what their favorites are right now. So I snapped a few pictures of their new favorite toys. Want to see...probably don't care, but I am gonna show you anyways.
These are Carson's 2 favorite Christmas gifts. The giant Optimus with the jet and his Transformers ark. Optimus is the truck in this picture, but he transforms into the biggest autobot you have ever seen, with a jet attached to his back. It only takes Thiago about an hour to transform this dude. And Carson changes his mind alot, autobot to the truck, truck to the autobot. Poor Theo.
This is a new little interest of his. Lego's. He begged and begged for Lego's city for Christmas. Santa brought him this little beach/marine set. He loves it. He only needs a little help from his dad building it. He can almost do it all on his own. I think he has a new little hobby. More lego's to come in his future.
The telescope. He has seriously been asking for a telescope since he was three years old. We never got one for him, cause we just thought he was being goofy and it wasn't something he would really use. Wrong. He loves it. I don't think he really sees much out of it, he basically just likes to pretend. Whatever, provides some serious entertainment for him.
One of Lincoln's favorites is his new Wheelies ramp. He had one in his nursery class at church and it was the one toy he always went for.
You can collect these little wheelies. They are all different charachters. Batman, Spiderman, Mcqueen, Mator, different animals and such. Do you ever have certain toys that just make you smile. These make me smile.
Imaginext pirate ship. Carson got a Pirates of the Carribean pirate ship for his birthday. It is pretty big and complex and has a lot of little pieces. Lincoln always wants to play with it, but he usually ends up destroying it. So we don't let him very often. When we saw this little ship however, we immmediatly thought of our boy. He loves having his own. The two of them like to face each other with their ships and have little pirate wars. Its fun.
And Lincoln's Mobigo. It is funny cause Carson just doesn't have a whole lot of interest in these little handheld games. Just doesn't really have a whole lot to do with them. Lincoln however loves them. He is constantly begging to play with our phones so we thought it would be a good idea to get him his own little gaming device. He loves it. Well, most of the time. Like I have said before, these kind of games have a tendency to get him quite worked up and he usually ends up mad by the time he is done playing. Then the game gets thrown across the room.
These gifts kind of went together. They are the Rescue Bots firestation and garage. Carson's is the firestation and Lincoln's is Bumblebees garage. They are kinda fun. (Nice face Linc)
Drake loves this little elephant. The balls come popping out of the middle, and he just goes crazy.
He also got these blocks from his great grandparents and they are pretty cute. The are each a different animal and they make different sounds and such. Another toy that just makes me happy.
This guy is more my favorite than his. Carson and Linc each got a pillow pet last year from my mom but the Drakey bug was still in my belly. I wanted him to have one too, so he got the Panda this year.
Last but not least. These little Sesame Street charachters. He loves to crawl around with one of these guys hanging out of his mouth. Silly boy.
So there it is. A glance at some of our "stuff". Don't ya just love stuff.

I loved this post. I love stuff too and I am always checking out people. Its so fun to look at what other kids my kids age like. My boys loved legos, but I always got stuck putting them together because my boys didn't have the patience. I love the panda pillow pet. So fun!
Such a great idea, its crazy how fast you forget the details of your children's lives. Kind of off the subject but I was wondering if you might be able to give me any words of advice. I just had another miscarriage, second one in a row. I know that you also went through this and wondered if you had any advice of how to prevent this from happening again, if your doctor put you on any meds, if you saw a high risk doctor or anything else that might help I would really appreciate it. You can e-mail me at stefanie770@yahoo.com Thanks.
