Another great Thanksgiving, the kickoff for all the Holidays to come. We had a great time at my moms house with Jen, Eric and the boys, the Kofoed's, Tam and Steve and of course Granny O. Ash ate with Souli's family but they made it down later that night to visit. It was a great day spent with my loved ones and of course wonderful food. With my mom and Tam cooking how could it not be. This year has really got me thinking about all the things I do have to be grateful for. The birth of a child I think kinda does that to you. Such a miracle, that it gets you thinking about all the other blessings in your life.
My three greatest blessings...a caring, loving husband who works so hard to provide for us. I am so fortunate to share my life with a man who values the same things I do, we believe in the same things and most importantly who loves me with all of his heart. My two beautiful babes, who are both strong and healthy. They are happy and oh so loved. They bring so much joy into my life, and are my reason behind everything I do. I could not ask for more...
Another picture of my handsome little 3 year old.
And my sweet, sleepy little 2 week old.
Granny O meets my Lincoln for the first time.
The two gourmet cooks...and of course Steve I have to mention. Nobody makes pies like that. I wish I had a piece right now.
Cute little cousins...missing a few. However this picture was to cute to not put up.
Kids table and down below that me and Thiago at the grownup table.
Like I say I have much to be thankful for...not only my own little family. I have the most wonderful extended family. My parents, sisters, grandparents, aunts, uncles, my sweet inlaws, my list could go on and on. They offer so much support and love to us, I do not know how people survive without family. I have the knowledge of the gospel, a savior and father in heaven that love me and are always there. The blessing of being sealed to my family for all eternity, knowing they are forever mine. A roof over my head, it may be small and not necessarily our dream home. However it is a home full of memories, a safe haven from the scary world...the place I have brought both my babies home to. Thiago has a good job and in this crazy economy, I know we are blessed for it. We enjoy good health, we are strong and able. I really could keep going, but that will have to do. How grateful I am for the blessings in my life, I hope I can carry this spirit of thanksgiving with me throughout this Holiday season. To remember what this season is all about. The birth and life of our savior and his atonement for us. That through him, I have been given all of this and will receive much more. I am grateful, to say the least.
