Life's little unexpectancies...

Well, I think it is about time to fill you all in on a little secret. I'm sure you have all noticed my ever expanding waistline in the last couple pictures of me, if not...go look again. If you haven't guessed it by now, Cano baby #3 is indeed on its way!! Surprised??? Yeah, so were we. Go figure right....tried for 3 years to get Lincoln here and this baby shows up all on its own. Now that the shock of it all has started to wear off, we can honestly say that we are thrilled. Thiago was excited from day 1, which is surprising cause he is the one that wants pretty big gaps between our kids. Me, however....well it took a few weeks for me to get used to the idea. Why, you ask.....uhhhh, have you met Lincoln. I shudder to think of Lincoln in his terrible two's already, but heck once you throw a newborn in there, well I might as well kiss my sanity goodbye. Truly though, how can one not be excited. No matter how many kids I have, pregnancy still remains the single most miraculous thing to me. It is the one thing in this life I am most grateful for. The oppurtunity to carry life within me and bring these precious little spirits into this world. I wouldn't trade it for anything. So while our timing is a little off, and I am still feeling a little panicked, I am mostly just feeling extremely blessed and very excited.



So come January....I get to snuggle me up one of these....

or who knows, maybe, just maybe I will get myself a little pink bundle of joy. Hard to imagine that, being a mom of two boys, I tend to think I will go from 2 little men to 3. But we shall see. Either way, we will be happy.



Well, most of us anyways. I seriously laugh everytime I think of this guy being a big brother, is that humerous to anyone but me. All I can say is he is in for a rude awakening once he realize this household doesn't revolve around just him.


This one however, he's excited. He would like a little girl (just like Katelynn), heck he even has her name picked out. I have explained many times that heavenly father will send us whoever we need to complete our family....which may be another little brother. Lets hope he comes to terms with that.


Here I am the day I found out....little bit of a forced smile. Just kidding, I was happy.


And here I am today....12 weeks along and feeling great. I truly don't get sick an ounce, maybe a tad tired but other than that no big deal.

So how do you like that for a Monday, there's our big news. Wish me luck....I'm gonna need it!
