What a fun day we had today. My sisters and mom came over for a little "swim party" as Carson has been calling it. And by swim party he means a slow moving slip n slide and a little wading pool But hey, to 6 kids under the age of 5 that is pretty much all you need to have a fantastic day. Started out a little rocky, when we couldn't get the pool to hold any water, it kept sloping all over the place. Carson was trying to laugh it off and have a good time, but alas he is his mothers child and we get really worked up when things aren't going as planned. We finally moved the pool onto a more level spot and everything was good.
Little lunch break...Cafe Rio for us (which I could eat again, right now...this baby is constantly making me hungry)

Go....oh, I love this kid. He must have done this a hundred times, all the other kids were too chicken. Not Cars.
Slip'n'slide
Yep, he's drinking the water...don't worry its house water. Gross, but at least not sickly.

I think Lincoln looks hilarious when he is all wet....just like a drowned rat.
My skinny kids....poor Lincoln couldn't keep his shorts up. By the end of the day he was running around in just a diaper.

As I was putting Carson to bed tonight, he gave me the biggest hug and said "mom, that was the best swim party ever....thats why I am grateful."
Makes it all worth it.

That is too funny that Lincoln and Elle are in my pics! Gracie's in one of yours!! Its funny that we don't run into you guys more often since we always seem to be at the same place at the same time!!
P.S. The swim party looked fun!! And Cafe Rio is our absolute favorite place to eat!! I seriously could eat it all the time and I'm not pregnant!! Even Gracie asks for it sometimes when I give her the option!

Thanks Ter it was a great day! It was so nice to just sit and relax for a day instead of running every direction like we usually are when we are together. Perfect we need to do it at least one more time before the summer is over.
That looks like a fun little water party. If you ever want the recipe I have one for the costa vida sweet pork salad and the dressing! If you can run a crock pot you can make it.
