Look at those colors...rich, vibrant, and oh so fallish!!!
Now look at these faces....
Now I love fall...but I love these two even more. Aren't they a beautiful sight, I sure think so.
Getting out a little and enjoying this wonderful time of year. Carson had a field trip to Black Island Farms, and you can bet me and baby brother tagged along. Brev is in the same preschool, just the younger class, so him and Ash and Elle bell were there too. Started it out, on a bumpy little wagon ride to see the fields and learn a little something about harvesting. Lincoln was in pure heaven, kept calling it a "choo-choo" but whatever. All he knows is he was bouncing along, looking at the world, and not trapped in a carseat.
Fields and fields of pumpkins....
Found us two that looked pretty good. Carson went for small, so he was able to carry it on his own. No worries...we will go next week and get us some that are big enough to carve.
Okay...I got a little picture happy. Can't help it, my subjects were just too cute and I just kept snapping away.
Like I said, cute!! This kid is a natural.
After the pumpkins, we headed over to the slides. Down, down, and down again they went. Gotta love my sister, for climbing up their with the little ones. No way I wanted to haul my big belly up there. Ash is always up for a little fun. (Oh yeah, and how cute is the picture of my boy helping pull up his little brother. Love when you look over and see little moments like that....followed by Lincoln's "tank-you, tarsey")
Trip wouldn't be complete without heading over to the big sandbox of dried corn. Yes, I love finding those little pieces in my washing machine for the next week.
Kiddie corn maze...Carson's favorite. I think he could have spent hours in there. Using his imagination to come up with all kinds of adventures and exploring. Lancey...he missed you, buddy.
Last but not least, the little animal train.
Great morning spent with my littles. Gotta say though, by the end of the afternoon Lincoln wasn't the only one ready for a nap. Wore me right out.
The fun continues...stay tuned.
