Soccer...round 2!

Cars finished up his second season of soccer on Saturday. We went with LaRoca rec, since that is the club Thiago coaches for rather than the city rec this time. It was ALOT better. Smaller teams so the kids got more one on one, and chance to participate. Games weren't as long, and the field was shorter...which is good considering they are five. I can't believe the change in Carson from spring to fall. He showed so much more interest, actually went after the ball rather than standing there spinning in circles. He was more aggressive (for Carson anyways, he is not an aggressive kid...to soft of a heart). Overall, he loved it and I loved watching him. He makes me so proud, the way he is so willing and excited for everything. Such a well-rounded kid.

I don't know what got into Lincoln this season, but he actually behaved himself. He stayed by us, didn't throw tantrums and actually was a really good boy. What....is he growing up, is my little monster about to be tamed. No, he got home and threw a pretty good one. Who knew a child would get so upset when his mom wouldn't let him fling his crackers around the house.

Cars had lots of support on his final game....and he was soaking it up. What a sweet family we have to come out and support him. Good season, good experience.

I haven't heard you talk much about soccer this season so it comes to as a surprise to me that Carsy did so well, where are the cartwheels this time? Glad it was a more pleasant experience with Mr. Lincoln he owes you after last season shenanigans.
