Busy couple of days around here....busy week to be exact. I tried not to plan any extra projects for myself this week, cause I knew we were going to be busy. Last night, the Cano's had us over for a little Halloween fun. Maria and Shalae planned a little party for the kids. They were supposed to dress up....Optumus Prime was there but my little mouse was not. First off, Lincoln's costume is dry clean only and I wasn't about to risk dirtying it up, second of all.....he doesn't like it. I didn't want to push my luck in having him wear it 2 nights. Wish me luck on Halloween, cause he threw a pretty good fit when I took them for pictures.
Shalae was Snow White. Carson was smitten...he keeps asking me if I am going to be Cinderella or Sleeping Beauty. I say no, and he then tells me "well, you won't be as pretty as Shalae". Oh well, I will just be ugly, old mom....haha.
Snow White telling the other princesses (and Optumus, of course) a few stories. I laugh at Lincoln in this picture. He kept standing up and walking around like why are we sitting here in this circle, listening to her talk. He could have cared less.
A few games...
which resulted in candy.
Decorating sugar cookies....my kids are on a sugar high.
And the only part of the party Lincoln cared for....rolling around in the decorations after everything was over. Oh yeah, I guess he enjoyed the cookie too considering he has a big orange frosting stain on his shirt.
Now onto today...we had the little cousins over for our holiday day of fun.
A glimpse of our day of fun...
Pin the smile on the mummy....
Light up milk jug jack-o-lanterns...
And how Lincoln spent his day......
Not at all interested in the party.....much funner to play with toys and help Jen with dessert. Maybe next year.
Trick or treating to end things off. Getting in some good practice come Saturday night.
Happy Halloween all....can't wait to see all of your posts!

You idiot the milk jugs are ghosts not jack o' lanterns, wern't you listening?
Thanks for the wonderful time, knowing you you are probably down on your hands and knees with your big belly scrubbing your kitchen floor or something, let it go just let it go.
Shalae looks darling, and is then Jeniena? I have no idea how to spell her name is that her girls, good heavens they have gotten big!
Carson looks cute in his costume. Good luck with Lincoln and his costume! I put Brinley's costume on her last night so she could get use to it. Instead she screamed at the top of her lungs for 20 minutes trying to pry it off her body. Seriously! It must be the age. Funny thing is, she wants to be a mouse, Minnie to be exact.
Looks like lots of Halloween fun! I love the Halloween projects you guys did with the kids. Cute idea with the milk cartons. I'll remember that for next year, and since we go through milk like crazy we could probably make a whole baseball team of milk jugs!
You are so cute pregnant. Seriously. Do you feel great when you are pregnant too? If so, lucky girl!!
Also, thanks for explaining that pumpkin walk to me. :) SOunds like fun. I knew it must be something like that.
Have a nice Halloween and fun weekend!
Snow White is beautiful, the party activities and decorations so cute, the crafts adorable, the goodies yummy...but Lincoln wins the prize for the best overall performance. Oh that boy keeps me laughing.
It's so great all you do for the kids to build happy memories, to learn new things, but most of all to just have fun being a kid...you're the best!
So much fun you three always have together. I was checking out the peanut butter pudding cups..um they look delightful. Hope you had a fun Halloween night!!
