Wishing a very happy day to this special little mommy and grandma (or Nema or Papa...depending on which kid you are talking to). I love, love, love the picture of my mom and her grandkids (minus Katelynn)...so typical of our young children. Half aren't looking, some won't put down their cups, and they all look a little disheveled from a hard day of playing. What I love the most though, is how much each of these little monkeys just love their Grandma Tereasa. She has such an effect on their little lives, directly and indirectly. After all she is the one that taught us girls how to be moms, all of our mothering comes straight from her. And trust me we learned from the best.
What would I do without you mom....where would I be. Something I can't even stand to think about, cause I love you that much. Thank-you for all you have done for me throughout every step of my life. You are always there, you are the first person I call with bad or happy news, you are the person I am constantly striving to become. I hope you had a fantastic day today, we sure did. Thanks for spending it with us.
Love you, forever and always....your Ter Bear!!

Oh, happy birthday to your mom! I only get to chat with her randomly when we have MCLO update together, she always tells me she reads up on my blog and recipes which I LOVE to hear! So pass on the word that I said happy birthday to her, will ya?! Thanks! Also, I too LOVE the pict with all the grandkids, I am rapidly thinking that my favorite pictures of kids are when they are just being "themselves"! It's so much more natural than being posed, it's so much more -them-! Cute photo!
Thanks for your words and feelings on Mothers, especially yours...Happy Birthday Tereasa. A darling picture of all the "gang".
This is why I always tell Eric if something were to happen to both of us one my sisters get our kids. Which is morbid to even think of, but I know my sisters do things the same way I do them, because we learned from a mother who did the same things. It's comforting walk into your house and see the same vacuum lines, the same chili recipe on the stove, the same books being read to the little ones. Anyways I know you understand.
Ah, so sweet! You do have a great mom! I know I don't really know her, but I always feel like I do from the way you talk about her!
So it looks like everyone is in for next Friday. I was thinking 7:00 We will do dinner and costumes are a must.:) I'm racking my brain for some crazy fun games! So be prepared! Also we thought we could visit more and enjoy one anothers company without our kiddos. Let me know what you think, can't wait I'm super excited!
Tres.... I know you will read this so Happy Birthday!! You truly are an amazing mother. I can only think about how many memories and wonderful things I have been able to experience and share with you under your roof. One of my favorites was having you braid my hair. Loved that as a kid. You also always had a big hug and a squeeze for me. Love ya!! Oh and by the way Teri cute post. Sorry had to give a little shout out to the wonderful birthday gal.
