2011 is here. So weird to get used to that, I usually go the whole month of January still writing 2010. We had a quiet New Years, which is just how I wanted it. I am partied and peopled out. So I bathed the kids and put them in their jammies and we headed over to the Cano's for a nice, quiet night.
My mother in law made us all a huge, wonderful dinner like always and then we sat around playing games with Cars for awhile. He got Connect 4 from Santa so we gave it a try. It is actually kinda hard for a 5 year old. He will get it eventually though.
Oh Lincoln...it wouldn't be a holiday without some tragic event taking place. He pulled a glass candle down (luckily it wasn't lit), however the glass slashed his little forehead.
Happy 2011, Lincoln. You are off to a good start.
We all made it til midnight...which is really saying something for me these days. I struggle. I think I only closed my eyes for like 10 minutes or so laying on Thiago's shoulder. Just a tiny little cat nap.
Could I look any huger in this picture...yuck.
Lots of celebrating...I spent the first few minutes of the New Year being mad at my camera. It kept making everything blurry...I still don't know why. Eventually it straightened out but it made me mad in the process.
Next morning...bright and early. We met up with my Williams' family for breakfast in Tremonton. It was a killer. We left our house at 8:30. Got home at 1:00 the night before, didn't fall asleep til 3:30 because of that lovely heartburn. And woke up at 6:45...I was oh, so tired. I know could I complain anymore.
After breakfast, Lancey came over for a few hours to play with Carson and all his new toys. They had a good time.
And after that, honey was nice enough to stay with the kids while I went with these ladies to the movie. We saw "The Tourist", and we loved it.
Later that night, Cano's stayed with our kids while Thiago and I went to "True Grit". Which was just okay to me. I know how lucky am I to see two movies in one day. Won't happen again for quite some time.
And now it is back to reality. Sort of...kinda hard to feel like reality when I am a couple of weeks away from having a baby. However, I will do my best.

So True Grit was just okay huh? And I think you forgot to mention you fall asleep during the tourist, loser.....honestly can't take you anywhere.
Funny about Lincoln starting the new year out right, you didn't tell me that. Some things just never change....
Poor Lincoln's head. Kids. They are always bruised or banged up somehow aren't they?
I know in the last stages of your pregnancy you always feel huge, but you seriously look SO great! Really. And you were having a good hair night too. :)
I want to see The Tourist! And True Grit!
You have been really busy! I don't know how you stayed up till midnight, especially being pregnant, I can barley stay up that late right now! Sounds like you guys had a great New Years!
I think you are gorgeous, but I understand how you feel being 9 months prego. Lincoln reminds me so much of Ashton. Glad he is okay though!
Happy New Year Teri. You look so cute at 9 months pregnant. I keep checking your blog to see if Drake has arrived yet, you are getting so close. Can't wait to see pictures of that cute boy.
OH what a happy sweet little family. So many fun things have been going on in you little life. I can't believe my baby Drake is coming soon. He will be darling. I love the recap post of 2010. Its funny how you forget things. Cute cute.
