Newborns...

require alot, I have decided. Much prep work going on around here as we prepare for Drake's arrival. However, I think we are finally ready. Only thing left to do is pack our hospital bags, but don't you worry I already have my lists made for that. Nursery is scrubbed, organized and decorated...

Of course, that wasn't too difficult considering it used to be Lincoln's. We did add a few new touches to personalize it for Mr. Drake.







Of course if you know me, you know a prepared nursery really isn't necessary until my kids are like a year old. I am horrible and they stay in my room for a VERY long time.


So, in typical me fashion...here is his pack and play. This is where he will be slumbering. The older boys think this is the perfect spot to lay and watch television while I get ready in the mornings. It kinda bugs..



Little dresser drawers contain onesies (I forgot how tiny those are for a newborn), burprags, caps, socks, binks, jammies and receiving blankets. All smell like a little piece of heaven, so fresh and clean.


A closet contains sweet little outfits...alot are hand-me-downs, some are new.


A stack of comfy- cozy blankets...this is only half of them. I know I have mentioned before that I am kinda a freak about blankets. You can never have too many.


Baby products are stocked up and ready to go...


Newborn diapers are piled in next to Lincoln's. Never had to buy diapers for two kids before, I am not loving it.



Swing and bouncer are cleaned and in place.


And my most favorite..the carseat. I don't think there is anything cuter than a tiny little pink face all buried in a carseat. All you see are these tiny little eyes, covered in blankets and all cozied in. They look like little nothings in there...so adorable.

Okay...all we need is the baby. 3 more days, but who's counting???
