LCD Flatscreen

We have finally joined the world of the flatscreen TV's. We got this new 47-inch LCD flatscreen. Thiago has been begging for one for awhile now, I finally caved. It really isn't fair that he is the one who makes all the money, yet he never gets a say in how we spend it. I must admit though, I LOVE it!! We also changed our Dish setup, so we added HDTV as well. It is amazing, I can't believe the clarity. Of course if I was getting a new TV, I had to get a new entertainment system to go along with it. I had a hard time finding just the right one, we had the TV for a few weeks, before I finally settled on this one from RC Willey. I think the end result turned out quite nicely. Next on my list is a new end table and coffee table..I couldn't afford to do it all at once.

I also wanted to show my other new purchase. Deseret Book had these beautiful pictures of Christ on sale. The were originally $350, but we got them for $150. They had this print of Jesus with the little children, or another one with sheep. They were both beautiful, but I went for the one with the kids. There is just something so wonderful about it. It was still kinda pricey but I just couldn't pass it up. I hung it in my front entrance. I think it is so beautiful, everytime I walk into the house, I just feel peaceful and happy. Well worth my money.

I love the TV and the picture. It is kind of fun having a new TV. And I also love my new picture. And one of these days we will get cable. Tanner wants to go to Iggys for dinner tomorrow to watch the Jazz game. Maybe I can talk him into coming to your house if you don't care.

Teri, I am so stinkin jealous. We have wanted a new tv for a while now, but we had just purchased a new tv right before the whole flatscreen craze. Darn changing times and new technology! It's no wonder why we got such a great deal on our tv at the time. With how much tv we watch, we really need to have a flatscreen. I swear we are completely addicted to television. Almost every show. I can not live without my Tivo. Maybe some day we'll catch up and buy a flatscreen. Anyways, congrats! Maybe now you will get addicted to tv like us! lol

Your front room looks so cute now, like it didn't before but even more so. Where are you getting all this money? I am probably a real big idiot, but I have no idea what HDTV is? I love the picture of Christ, it is gorgeous. Sidenote I might have to start calling you Stephanie, haha. Think hard if you don't know what I am talking about, you'll get it.

First of all how fun a girls night out! My night was spent alone because our priesthood session is at 8:00 in MD, and the baby was in bed. Then Scotty came home and had to study until 2:00 in the morning because he had a test coming up. Oh well. Also I love you purchases! Scotty would be jealous, he wants a new TV for our family room, but we just got one for our bedroom so we won't get it for a while. Besides I want new couches first!

Glad to see that you got your new TV and entrtainment center. Very cute. Steve saw your TV and like I told you before said it was the one to get. Some day when our basement is done we'll have one too.

Wow, that tv is awesome. I have got the ginormous old school style that when being moved into the apt, was not liked by the guys moving it - it's quite heavy. They told me next time I move I will need to get a flat screen!

Nice! I do have to say I'm really super jealous... usually the guy in the relationship is the technology freak... but oh no with Ryan and me it's totally me! He could care less and I'm always wanting the latest thing. So... yeah that's super exciting. OH and that is a really good pic. I wish we lived near a deseret book - they always have the coolest things that you cannot find out here. We looked for a picture of Jesus everywhere and couldn't find one and during christmas it's a joke to try to find a nativity. Man oh man the joys of being outside of Utah!

I love your TV. It makes my flatscreen look a bit tiny. But oh well. I'm also very jeolous of that picture. But I have no spot to hang it so oh well.
